Dear Tony, Your book is an excellent resource. Our goals sometimes get repressed thru the challenges of growing up. I am raising a couple of boys that are "chips off the ole' De Liso block" They have those characteristics that teachers like to label with negative titles--Low ambition, Daydreamers, Troublemakers, Attitude. After reading your book, and others of similar spiritual nature, I have come to realize that those characteristics --when nurtured---can become high quality virtues. I’ve been reading  Legacy. While reading it I couldn’t help relating all the that it teaches, to 9/11. I feel that the book can help many people directly or indirectly affected by the tragedy to draw some strength in overcoming the pains and the adversities of time to come. What you've done here is simplified some very basic and elementary lessons that all human beings need to even grow into health, wholeness, happiness and the state of serenity.When I reviewed what writings I could find and the chapters of your book I knew much of it was a review for me, and I purchased the book mainly for the Goal Setting Strategies, etc...  but now that I am reading the book I find that it has been written in a style which is so simple to read and comprehend that even most of my patients would benefit from the lessons contained within - even though their goal is not for Monetary Success or Success in Business their goals are (or should be if they want to be a patient of mine!  eheheh) to Succeed in becoming well.  That, for them is the biggest success, as it is still even for me.I will recommend this book I believe to everyone on my poetry lists, friends, and those I counsel.  We all can use the basic lessons, and the reminders.

I liked the reference to dis-ease, which I have come across before, but also 'Reponse Ability' and 're-member'.  It changes the way you look and think.

I also enjoyed your reference to being happy.  It is what we all seek, and yes it is usually fleeting moments of happiness we experience, but you can control this to be happy as a state of mind, and for no reason.

I feel your book is a book to keep close.  I will refer to it many times, and although you did a 'Summary of Facts', which I was very impressed with, I will probably make a lot of notes myself.  I dislike  the marking  of books, so I usually tag them with post its when something inspires me, or if I want to re-read or refer back.

I'm really enjoying reading “Legacy: The Power Within.” It's so good to be reminded of things I knew once, to confirm and reinforce things I'm remembering or have learned recently, and to be presented with new thoughts and concepts. I loved the notion that we start with ideas and make words out of them, then our words become ideas and we can easily end up backwards and bent out of shape as a result. I "knew" the "act as if" but haven't done so in a while, lol.

Tony I finished your  book and feel quite stoked lol. I really loved how you brought psychology, sociology, theology and the rest all together in your book, I believe that we each learn in different ways, and with your incorporating all of these various teachings, everyone will gather what they NEED to SUCCEED out of it. LOL I became a bobble head quite often thinking' YES HE'S RIGHT>>>> this works so well, if you believe it you can achieve it!' Its funny how we  let 'others'  tell us what we 'should, could, would' do better or differently... and YET I remember in Sunday School being told at the age of 6 "you each have GOD inside of you and He has given you everything you need in order to succeed and do well in your life, Just remember to tap into your God heart and God voice". So often I had forgotten that when things went wrong, but  when I remember and tap into it... then my life flows better. I have kept a diary for  40 years, that too has shown me my stumbling blocks/thoughts and my successes and thinking! I am glad especially after the severe brain damage to have had those to read, once I learned to read again, in order to go back and figure out who I was (since I had no idea who I was back then or who my family was lol), which gave me a starting place for where and who I THEN wanted to be in my life! I have always relished, and not feared too much, the crossroads in my life and think about the poem Robert Frost  wrote, THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED, because for myself those are the times I do best. Because of my illness and disabilities, RIGHT now I am at a major crossroad and changing direction for my own health and well-being that is meeting with staunch opposition from my controlling parents, but I am not letting their beliefs take me down into the land of doubting. I know I'm on the right path, not only because I KNOW and BELIEVE IN MY QUEST BUT ALSO because I have others who are supporting my efforts, because my believing in my quest IS bringing about the money and opportunities I need to have in place in order to  make this next life change! I have the faith (and not the fear) that I am doing the right things and for the right reasons that live well inside of me, with God's guiding hands. Reading your book reinforced for me all that I thought I knew (because I had the background in psychology, sociology and elementary education as well as studying various theology over my lifetime), yet gave it to me in a valuable way that I'd not seen in total before. When I read the first part of your book there was a lot in there that had me thinking a LOT, yet I felt that was a great thing! You are SO right about how we DO bring into our lives that which we think.... and I am glad I learned that FINALLY after many fits and starts, albeit the hard way about 6 years ago. AND that 'FUBAR" bad experience back then reminded me to be wiser, think smarter and believe more in my SELF. I truly believe that we get the lessons we need in life and if we learn them well, then great and we move forward. IF we Don't learn them, then we get more opportunities to learn until we GET THE LESSON. It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results.... I figured it out 6 years ago, and now I've got it down pat for the next leg of my journey. THANK YOU! When I read the last 1/2 of your book that was written in what felt like a different voice to me, from your first 1/2 book, everything really came together even more for me. I am going to sing your book praises and hopefully get others to read it, who are also in life changing needs of a new direction, though they are floundering in how to go about it. its funny how for the last 15 years various people have kept telling me to write a book...that what I have is great stuff that others would love to hear... and yet its trying to find the right avenue and voice to write something within. AND now truly after reading your book and one other a few months ago.... NOW I have the voice I didn't know was there and the time seems to be right for starting on this venture. a couple days ago I had the thought... what IF I make too much money and lose my SSDI?... then my real voice said "SHOOT then you can AFFORD  to do all the things you can't now do... when did money ever bother you in the having or not having it??"  This was sent home to me yesterday when I got the SSDI paperwork about had I made any money in the last two years through working or side things, had I been hospitalized etc..... and I filled out all the right blocks and sent it on.... THEN said KATHY wouldn't it be great if in 2 years when they check you out again you can say I WROTE A BOOK and it got published! lol..... well that is my wish that I sent to the universe today at 5 am! HUGS and thank you again for your cattle prod in my backside! IT WAS ILLUMINATING LOL
