Your Objective is:To create a simple machine (inclined plane)
that will move a marble (using the forces of gravity and inertia) a distance of at least 1 foot.
The marble must be on the device the entire time and not fall off. Use friction to keep the marble on the device.
After it has traveled a distance of 1 foot it may fall off the device and continue rolling.

But the group that keeps their marble on the machine for the greatest distance will be declared the winner of the engineering challenge.
