A need for trauma-informed care.In the last 15 years alone, terrorism, war, and

natural disasters have ushered forth national discussions on the importance of trauma-informed care.

More practitioners will likely deliver services to these vulnerable populations in the coming years, but lack evidence-based knowledge, assessment, and psychotherapy skills needed to do so.
