Leisure Time Activities And Adverbs Of Frequency

True/False Board Game Instructions:

1. You will need a pair of dice for this game. Place the game board on page 10 in the center of the table. Place the question card boxes on page 14 next to the game board. Cut out the question cards on pages 11, 12, and 13. Place them in 3 piles, face down, in the corresponding boxes on page 14. Cut out the “Give A True Answer Card” and the “Give A False Answer Card” which are at the bottom of this page. Place them in the corresponding boxes on page 14. Cut out the 4 colored counters at the bottom of this page.

2. Nominate someone to be the score keeper. The score cards are on pages 14 and 15.

3. Each player selects a colored counter. All the players put their counters on the Start square.

4. Player A throws the dice. He/She moves the counter along the squares according to the number on the dice.

5. Player A looks at the symbol on the square where the counter has landed. The symbols are a star, a smiley face, and a sun. Player A picks up a question card from the pile with the same symbol.

6. Player A turns to the player on his/her left. Player A now picks up the “Give A True Answer Card” and the “Give A False Answer Card”. Player A holds these 2 cards out in a face down position to the player to the left. Player B chooses one of these cards. Now Player A goes back to the question card. Player A asks Player B the question on the card. Player B must give either a true or false answer according to the “Give A True Answer Card” or “Give A False Answer Card” that he/she chose.

7. All of the other players, including Player A, guess whether Player B’s answer is true or false. Each player gets 1 point for guessing correctly. All of the cards are placed at the bottom of the appropriate piles. Player B now throws the dice and the game continues in this way.

8. If a player lands on a square marked “?”, that player can ask the player on the left any question they like. The player on the left must still choose a “Give A True Answer Card” or a “Give A False Answer Card” and answer according to the card chosen.

9. The game continues until someone reaches the Finish square. At this time, the game completely stops. Add up the points. The player with the most points is the winner.
