Project Artifacts

• Project Charter– Project identification and scope – Authority and resource need definition – Project roles and responsibilities – Project structure and schedule

• Develop Workplan• Work Breakdown Structure

– a hierarchical outline of the tasks needed to deliver the project’s product or service. It “breaks-down” the project into low-level subtask units of work that will be scheduled, executed and controlled.

• Project Staffing Plan– How the staff will be acquired – How long the staff will be needed – The skills required – What training is needed

• Project Schedule Plan– Time (duration) estimates for all project tasks – Start and finish dates for the tasks – Names of staff resources assigned to complete the

tasks – Sequence of tasks

• Project Budget– Network costs – Customer Support costs – Software Licensing costs – Advertising or other costs

• Develop Project Control Plans• Project Communication Plan

– What’s being communicated– Who involved in the communication– Purpose of the communication– Communication Frequency– Communication Method

• Change Management Plan– receive and log change requests– perform the timely and adequate evaluation of

• Risk Assessment Plan– Ensure critical risks impacting scope, schedule,

management to focus efforts on the risks with an effective coordination of effort.

– Ensure appropriate stakeholders are informed– Record an audit trail of discussions and mitigation of

the proposals for the prime contract procurement will be received, logged and evaluated to select a winning bidder. The overall goal of the evaluation process is to select the proposal that presents the best value for performing the required services and activities.
