Da Vinci was a famous artist that was born April 15 1452 in Vinci, Italy. Two of his paintings are the most famous paintings of all time: The Monalisa and The Last Supper.

What is the name of one of his artworks?

The Monalisa is his most famous artwork. This painting has been kept for hundreds of years, was taken to France, was been stolen from France back to Italy, taken back to France and is now resting in the Louvre in Paris. People around the world like to make it look funny.

Why I chose the artist and artwork?

The reason that I chose to research about Leonardo Da Vinci is because I know as a fact that he is one of the most famous, if not the most, artist in the world. His painting, the Monalisa is in fact the most famous painting ever created, and is one of the most ingenious. There is ever-lasting information about this painting and artist as well, so I picked this because I knew that I would have all the details that I need.
