Fræna municipality (10 000 inhabitants) covers most of the Romsdal peninsula onto Hustadvika and is Molde's neighboring municipality.

Fræna is the largest rural municipality in the county, and agriculture and fihing is an important industrial sector.

Fræna municipality has many fine outdoor recreation and natural areas. Hiking on Skaret Tourist center is unique with excellent conditions for summer and winter activities.

A trip to the lively fishing village of Bud, with a visit to Ergan coastal fort, or the island of Bjørnsund, and further along the coastline of Hustadvika up to the Atlantic Road are the most popular excursions when visiting Fræna.

Pratice-based training: 1. year 6 lessons pr week 2. year 9 lessons pr week Purpose of the subject is to give pupils the

opportunity to gain experience with the content, tasks and working methods that characterize the different professions within the education programs
