They crop up frequently in the grammar question and also in your written pieces- you will be saying “my family”, “our hotel”,etc. To decide which possessive adjective to use- you need to look at the noun it is describing in the sentence. Ask yourself: Is the noun it’s describing masculine/feminine/beginning with a vowel/plural?
