Biography:
Oliver Cromwell (25 April 1599 – 3
September 1658) was an English
military and political leader and later
Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of
England, Scotland and Ireland. An
intensely religious man —a self-styled
Puritan Moses- he fervently believed
that God was guiding his victories.
Cromwell’s military
Style:
Cromwell had no
formal training in
military tactics, and
followed the common
practice of ranging his
cavalry in three ranks
and pressing forward, relying on impact rather
than firepower. His strengths were an
instinctive ability to lead and train his men,
and his moral authority. In a war fought
mostly by amateurs, these strengths were
significant and are likely to have contributed
to the discipline of his cavalry.
Death:
Cromwell died on the 3rd of September 1658
of a fever resulting from a gallstone infection.
His funeral on the 10th of November was
estimated to cost between £30,000 and
£60,000, far more than any Royal funeral
previously. He was laid in an imposing tomb
in Westminster
Abbey in the
chapel of King
Henry VII.

Morality depends on religion?
We should acknowledge from the
start that religious people usually do not
behave better than the non-religious ones.
There are some exceptions, of course, but
this statement is generally true, I suppose.
The main question is how religion
changes people’s morality.
First, I think faith does not make
people more moral at all, or just few of
the religious, who are truly ethical not
because of faith, but because of
upbringing. Moreover, almost all of the
religious are aggressive, so they often
behave violently. Just remember of the
crusades. It shows the perfect example for
the statement above.
Second, there are some fake religious,
who always looking for a loophole, try to
shirk from the dogmas. For instance,
some moslims, who go to pubs and drink
alcohol, they do it under the table,
because they think Allah, their god,
cannot see them there. On the other hand,
there are so many faith fanatics, who
would do
and give
everythin
g for
their
church
and their
god. They often just pray and beg to god,
when they are in trouble. They want him
to solve their problems, but they do
nothing for it.
We should also remember that some
people
find
their
way and
themsel
ves and
the
church.
This
way
they
turn into better part of the society, they
help each other. They can find their own
community, feel glad and have some
moral support, which can lead their life
on the good path. For instance, a lot of
criminals find their god in prisons, and
then the faith effects the rest of their lives.
In a lot of cases they will not do anything
illegal.
To sum up, religious people in general do
not behave better than non-religious ones.
I suppose that everything depends on
upbringing and the situation.

This article is about the mammal in the bear
family. The giant panda lives in a few mountain
ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan
province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu
provinces. As a result of farming,
deforestation and other development, the
panda has been
driven out of the
lowland areas where
it once lived. There
are only 10,000 to
20,000 pandas living
in the world. Their
weight is between
160 and 170 kg, and they are about 120 cm.
They are easily
recognized by the
large, distinctive
black patches
around the eyes,
over the ears, and
across their round
body.
The panda eats a lot, the daily amount of food
is very high. In the wild it occasionally eats
bamboo and other grasses, wild tubers, or
even meat in the form of birds, rodents or
carrion and in captivity it may receive honey,
eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, or
bananas along with specially prepared food.
They are very lazy, sleepy animals.
Giant pandas generally live in groups, and
each adult has their own territory, and a
female is
not tolerant of other females. Pandas
communicate
through
vocalization and
scent marking as
much as clawing
trees. Pandas rely
primarily on spatial memory rather than
visual memory. After mating, the male
leaves the female alone to raise the cub.
The female panda has 1 or 2 cubs at the
same time.

In the wild, the giant panda is a terrestrial
animal and mostly spends its life sleeping and
feeding in the bamboo forests of the Qinling
Mountains and in the hilly Sichuan Province.
Though the panda is often assumed to be
clever, it has been known to attack humans,
presumably because of irritation rather than
aggression. Pandas have been kept in zoos as
early as the Western Han Dynasty in China,
where the writer Sima Xiangru noted that the
panda was the most treasured animal in the
ruler’s garden of exotic animals in the capital
Chang'an (present Xi'an). Not until the 1950s
were pandas again recorded to have been
exhibited in China's zoos. Today there are 14
reserves but it’s still not enough.

Dead woman found near the river
A policeman came across a dead body near the local
river a few days ago. It was revealed after the
identification process that her name was Elisa Day.
There is quite a mystery surrounding her death, such as
the rose in her mouth and the black python crawling
over her body. There is a potential suspect, however,
her lover.
He started to draw the attention of the authorities by
overly aiding the probe. He made accusations of
several other close friends and relatives of Elisa.
Because of this, the police felt it was necessary to
investigate his background.
It turned out that he was insanely obsessed with Elisa’s
beauty. First, he started visiting her at home in order to
win her love. After his success, he brought Elisa a rose
on the second day of their romance. He asked her the
source of such beauty. For he was not satisfied with the
answer, he decided to preserve Elisa’s beauty
forever...by killing her. So he gave her a farewell kiss
and then proceeded to hit her with a rock.

Carnage in pub
The police have finally captured the man responsible
for two deaths in the local pub: the well-known
bastard, Stagger Lee. One day he walked into the pub
and unfortunately for the locals, he was not in a good
mood. His wife had thrown him out a few hours earlier,
therefore he had nothing to care for. Inside the pub, he
provoked an argument with the bartender, which ended
in the latter’s butchery.
Following this execution, a woman entered, named
Nellie Brown. At first, she was shocked by the
bartender’s death, but afterwards she started flirting
with Lee, warning him to finish before her man, Billy
Dilly arrives. Lee did not seem to care, and then Billy
appeared, just to be shot multiple times and die.

Zimmers
The Zimmers is a British band, considered to
have the oldest members of any band in the
world. Their lives improved because of the
band. When their video was released on the
internet site Youtube it attracted more than 2
million views! The oldest member (Buster
Martin) is claimed to have been born in 1906,
although some sources indicate he was born in
1913 – he died in 2011. The former lead singer
Alf Carretta died on 29 June 2010, aged 93.
The group takes its name from the Zimmer frame (walker). This group has 40 members, a
lot of attitude, and a combined age of 3.000.
The band was created as a feature in a BBC
Television documentary, which was first
broadcast on 28 May 2007. The feature of
forming the band and recording a single was
intended to give a voice to the feelings of
isolation suffered by the elderly. The Zimmers'
logo is a parody of The Beatles' logo, as is the
image of them walking across Abbey Road.
On 7 April 2012, the band performed the
Beastie Boys' "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right
(To Party!)" on Britain's Got Talent.The band is
very much active in 2013 and has a show in
Warrington on 25th May.

The Beatles
The Beatles were an English rock band formed
in Liverpool, in 1960. They became the most

band, who represent them. Before ESC,
countries organize a competition to decide
which singer will go to the Eurovision. Since
1956 it is staged every year in different
countries. This year it was in Sweden, because
the last year a Swedish singer won. There are

His song was “Kedvesem”, in English “My
sweetheart”. He was the 10th in the final. He
had gotten his graduation in Bessenyei György
High School. And he got his diploma from
Miskolci University. He was young when he
started dealing with music, but initially he did
it because he wanted to entertain his sister
and his parents. When he was a student he
played in an amateur band. This was “My gift to
you”. In those years his first song was written,
called “Csókolom” which had made him famous.

E.L.James – Fifty Shades of Grey
This book is the first part in the Fifty Shades
of Grey trilogy and these were the best and
the most exciting books we have ever read.
This novel was written in 2011 by the British
author, called E. L. James, who is a 50-year-old
woman. She was in „The world’s 100 most
influential people”, so it’s not occasional that
her book got a lot of recognition all over the
world.
The story is set in Seattle, Washington, where
two friends live. One of them is the 21-year-old
girl, Ana Steele who is a shy and a low-key girl.
The other girl is Kate Kavanagh who writes a
student newspaper. The other main character is
the handsome Christian Grey, who by the end
of the book becomes the love of Ana’s life.
The story starts when Kate has to meet the
rich and incredibly successful Christian,
because unfortunately Kate gets a flu and she
can’t go there to make her project, and Kate
offers Ana to make it instead of her. When
Ana arrives at Christian’s office, she falls over,
it’s the best entry ever. Christian invites Ana
for a coffee and she accepts the invitation, but
during this meeting she finds out that this man
isn’t created for her.
He is a womanizer, so she shouldn’t meet him
anymore, but she can’t resist the fascinating
man and his attractiveness. On the other hand
Ana discovers Christian’s secret and her own
dark desires.
Later, Christian falls in love with Ana too, but
they have lots of arguments and Ana breaks up
with him. So there isn’t a happy end in this
book, but it’s not the end of the story, there
are 2 other books, which are about their love
story.
I would recommend this book to everyone,
especially to girls. I couldn’t put it down. It’s a
really gripping story
with lots of twists
and turns. So if it

Caped crusader
in a third movie
It's about time we took a look at the most
anticipated blockbuster movie of the
summer, from the director of Inception and
the previous two Batman stories (Batman Begins and
The Dark Knight), Christopher Nolan: The Dark Knight
Rises.

the night, turning from hero to fugitive in an instant.
Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent,
the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he
hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie
worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was
crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything changes with the arrival of Bane, a
masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham
force Bruce to put on the cape and cowl again...”
The Dark Knight Rises is an ambitious, thoughtful, and
potent action film that concludes Christopher Nolan's
franchise in spectacular fashion. This dazzling
conclusion is more than an exceptional superhero
movie, it is masterful filmmaking by any standard. As
soon as it's over, all you want to do is see it all over
again.
The Dark Knight Rises might be the most despairing
superhero film ever made. The script is simply
gripping. The attack of a plane carrying a Russian
neuroscientist and the hit at Gotham Stock Exchange
recall memories of the infamous September 11th
. If it
were not enough, Nolan uses a terrifying villain for
these actions to emphasize the physical
vulnerability of a hero we sometimes forget is
no more than human. We sit there in our
greatest excitement with our jaw dropped, as
Bruce Wayne has to overcome his nemesis once
again: good, old-fashioned fear.

The action sequences are flawlessly executed, and the
acting is extremely superb. Alongside Christian Bale,
Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman,
new characters appear on the screen: Gotham's
biggest threat, Bane is portrayed by Tom
Hardy, who uses his eyes fantastically to
convince us that even an overmuscled brute
like Bane can be human; Anne Hathaway
appears as Selina Kyle (or in her infamous
name: Catwoman), a canny thief who's the only
one succeeding in stealing from Bruce; while
Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the role of John
Blake, a rookie cop with high potential.
The soundtrack is once again composed by Hans
Zimmer, who had also worked in the previous
two Batman movies. The Dark Knight Rises
original soundtrack seals Christopher Nolan’s
trilogy with an intensely epic sound that won’t
be forgotten. Zimmer cleverly blends the
familiar with the new, all while creating unique
sounds for both Bane and Selina Kyle.
In summary, The Dark Knight Rises is an honourable
and satisfying conclusion to Christopher Nolan's
fascinating Batman trilogy. Definitely worth more than
just a mere glimpse!
