Appropriate pre-Exhibition promotional campaigns, including e-newsletter (mass mailing
reaching up to 5,000 contacts, where the project was introduced as one of the technological
innovations presented at the fairs themselves), presence on exhibition websites, advertisement
on trade magazines (paper and/or web), and on industry web portals in the field of food and
beverage preparation plants, read by the specialized operators, has been organized in order to
deliver information and maximize the visits of customers during these exhibitions. Also the
project website and the company website (www.adue.it), the signature at the foot of e-mails
sent by all A DUE S.p.A. employees outside, LinkedIn posts from A DUE LinkedIn account
provide evidence and advertised the participation to trade fairs. In the various fairs, the Less-
Water Bev.Tech project has been included in the online catalog (where available).
Dedicated promotional material in various languages has been specifically designed to be
shown and distributed during direct these exhibitions, but also during visits to customers,
public events, workshops, etc.
The informational/promotional material provided covered the technical aspects (applied
technologies and achieved results), as well as the economic benefits (investment and running
costs, pay-back periods) and environmental performances: catalogues and brochures, panels,
stickers, flyers, roll-up, layouts, schemes, technical presentations a video specially designed
to make the new technology more easily understandable, gadgets customized with the project
logo/name (pens, pencils, block-notes, 250 ml water bottles with dedicated neck label, usb
keys that were distributed after uploading the main info about the project and, once available,
the Layman's report and project video).

Brau Beviale 2015
Brau Beviale 2015 opened its doors from 10th
to 12nd
November 2015. More than 1,050
exhibitors showed their innovative solutions along the beverages production process chain:
high-quality raw materials and products, high-performance technologies, efficient logistics
solutions. Brau Beviale is the capital goods exhibition for the whole beverage production
process chain (beer, water, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, wine, sparkling wine and liquid dairy
products). Brau 2015 data:

A DUE participated in the exhibition with its 22 sqm own stand ( Stand 7-511, Hall 7),
inviting (through a dedicated newsletter) the potential stakeholders ” to hear about our latest
innovations in beverage processing technology”: the new system to process juices containing
ORANGE SACS or FRUIT PIECES, allowing to preserve product organoleptic and
nutritional properties; our experience in the field of NON ALCOHOLIC BEER processing,
intended to prevent malt concentrate fermentation, oxidation and sediment formation in the
final product; “the advanced research project called NIAGARA (link to the project website),
co-funded by the European Union, aimed at reducing water consumption in the beverage
industry”.
The decision to attend this fair was that this is a benchmark for brewers, many of which are
expanding their business to the production of juices and non-alcoholic beer. Beer preparation,
although different from that of soft drinks, also requires high water volumes, therefore beer
producers are potential users of the new water treatment and recovery technology.

Drinktec 2017
The Drinktec fair held in Munich (Germany) from 11th to 16th September 2017
(www.drinktec.com) is the world's leading reference event for the beverage industry and
related technologies. In particular DrinkTec 2017 has chalked up the best result in its 66-year
history, with 1749 exhibitors from 80 countries, presenting their innovative products and
services for the beverage and liquid food industry and over 76,000 visitors from more than
180 countries who travelled to Munich to learn about the industry’s latest innovations and
trends, interested mainly in machinery and equipment, i.e. production.
Taking part to this fair was meant as a strategic tool, since it allows commercial relations with
international multinationals (Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, Danone, Nestlè, etc.) and bottling line
manufacturers (OEMs).
A Due was present at the fair with its own 144 sqm stand in Hall A6, stand 321, with the
"Water Innovation corner" fully dedicated to the Less-water bev tech project.

In the "Water Innovation corner" were displayed 4 fiberglass vessels containing osmosis and
filtration cartridges for water treatment and recovery and the new SCADA (Supervisory
Control And Data Acquisition) for the automation and control of the industrial processes. To
assure a best visualization of the SCADA performances illustrated by A DUE technician on
the booth, a working station has been set up with a LED 32-inch Touch Screen Monitor, Full
HD, and 1 Personal Computer with Intel Core I7-4790 Processor, connected to 2 Led 27-inch
Monitor, Full HD.
A 65-inch monitor showed the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juDzEUV3710,
specifically thought and created to make NIAGARA project easier to understand; the Less
Tech Bev Tech working station with table, chairs and a PC containing project video and the
project related documentation, was used by A DUE technician to better explain the projects
output to all the interested stakeholders.
There was also a fridge, decorated with promotional images of the project, containing the 250
ml bottles of water with the project neck label, that have been distributed to all visitors,
together with the other project gadgets.
The project video, and other company videos specifically made for the exhibition and for the
celebration of A DUE 50 years in business, were displayed for all the duration of the
exhibition on four 65-inch monitors put on the stand walls, and two 45-inch monitors put on
the walls of the meeting rooms.
The fair was attended not only by A DUE's sales staff, but by all the technical staff
(mechanical engineering office, automation office, field and aftersales department) organized
so as to constantly ensure the presence of technical staff able to explain to customers and
agents A DUE technology, including the Less-water Bev Tech project, in all its aspects (from
the mechanical/hydraulic/chemical-physical principles to process software, proper
installation, monitoring and after-sale servicing of the new water treatment system).

The same technical staff also took advantage of the participation in the fair, to see the latest
innovations of the technology presented, and participate in the trade shows offered at the fair
(in particular the VDNMA waterSymposium @ drinktec on the rational use of water in
beverage preparation processes ).
The excellent position of the booth and the massive promotional campaign that preceded the
trade fair led to over 370 contacts in the 5 days of the fair, many of which were potentially
interested in the Niagara project.
The stakeholders and potential clients, coming from 5 continents were invited to the fair
through a dedicated newsletter addressed to more of 5000 qualified contacts (bottlers, OEMs,
agents) in the Food & Beverage sector.

Fairs in the MENA area: DJAZAGRO 2015 & 2016; GULFOOD MANUFACTURING
2015 & 2016, IRAN FOOD & BEV TECH 2016
Djazagro 2015& 2016
DJAZAGRO (Algiers-Algeria) is the most important event dedicated to the food industry in
Northwest Africa and represents a reference point for all professionals in the areas of
processing, storage and packaging of foodstuffs. In Algeria, the agro-food industry accounts
for 40% of total industrial production. The country is the wrist of the evolutionary trends of
the global market in the enlarged Mediterranean area, depending on the socio-economic
transformations that affect the needs of consumers in the agro-food sector. Therefore, this fair
is an opportunity to spread technology to Algerian customers (A DUE SPA already has a
market in Algeria, but has to guard it and keep up the local competitors and other European
companies, retaining existing customers and confirming its active presence on market), but
also on expanding neighboring markets such as Morocco, Tunisia, etc.
As an evidence of the company commitment in this area, at the end of 2015, A DUE opened a
Service Office for the Maghreb and Egypt area based in Casablanca, which provides on-site
technical assistance on installed plants. The experienced commercial-technical manager, Mr.
Mahfoud Ahmed, with both Moroccan and Italian nationality, visits customers and plants,
coordinates the required operations and new installations and provides the technical support
needed to develop new projects.
A DUE took part to Djazagro Fair 2015 (20-23 April 2015) with its own 15 sq.m. booth
(1A024, Hall A) and to Djazagro 2016 (18-21 April 2016) with its own 12 sq.m. booth
(1A012, Hall 1), where Project logo, promotional panels and flyers were clearly visible.

with its own 30 sqm stand (ZABEEL HALL - STAND N. Z2-E97), where Project logo,
promotional panels and flyers were clearly visible.
GULFOOD MANUFACTURING 2015
During the 2016 edition A DUE launched the NIAGARA DAY on November 7th
2016, by
organizing on its booth some multiple dedicated workshops (see Deliverable D6.15) starting
to show and discuss with the major stakeholders of the MENA region the latest results of the
project.
The stakeholders and potential clients, coming from the main countries of MENA region
(among which UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Bahrein, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan,
Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, etc.) were invited to the fair and to the workshops through a
