Pre-requisites for the CAPM Exam
Option College / University Education
PM Training Project Experience
One Secondary diploma (High School diploma/global equivalent)
1,500 hours of professional experience on a project team
Two Secondary diploma (High School diploma/global equivalent)
23 hours of formal project management education

About the CAPM Exam
Total number of Questions: 150. But, out of these, 15 questions are pretest question for future examination. Only 135 questions are scored. PMI grades students on each of the chapters and based on this grading they declare a pass or fail. The grading used is: “Below Proficient”, “Proficient,” and “Moderately Proficient” in each of the five process
groups. Total duration of the exam is 3 hours. There is 1 Point for every right question. There is no penalty for wrong answers.
