All ISPs (Internet Service Providers) give you an email address when you sign up– Can be free or for a fee ($$$)
These are only a few ISPs; there are many more to choose from

An email address has three parts, no capitals and no spaces

Many companies on the Internet offer free email, called Webmail– The Yahoo! Internet company offers

When you get a Webmail account, you must login with a user name and a password.
Your email goes to your user name
Your password protects your email
No one can read your email without your user name and your password

When you login, you enter your user name and your password
Click the Login button after you have typed in your user name and password

The Inbox holds your email
The Sent box holds email that you have sent
This shows how much space you have left in your email box

When you open your email, you will see this information:
The date and time the email was sent
Your email address
The message
Buttons for you to use to do different things with the message

When you answer a message, you reply to it by clicking the Reply button
You type your answer above the message that was sent to you
