man. That is why God created a suitable
partner for each other. God willed and wrote
at the beginning of human history that man
and woman should love each other. (CCC

love of a man and a woman for each
other in the level of a sacrament. He
said, so they are no longer two but
one flesh. Therefore, what God hasjoined together, no human being must
separate. (Matthew 19:6)

Jesus blesses the union of a baptized
man and a baptized woman throughthe Sacrament of Matrimony. In this
sacrament, He offers them special
grace and strength to help them growin love and share this love with their
children (CCC 1641).
