• A pixilation animation showing people and inanimate objects interacting. Skillful editing using photoshop.
• Consideration of location
• Development of 3 photoshoots to show ideas linked to Jan Svankmajer/PES or similar
• Development of 2nd photoshoot. Using 3 objects. Reference to relevant artist/photographer
• Editing using photoshop
• Animation/GIF using photoshoot with inanimate object. Reference to relevant animator/artist/photographer
Task – Create a series of moving images
• Photoshoot with still life objects
• Pixilation (using people)
• Development of photoshoot showing interaction of people and objects
• Reference to relevant animators/artists/photographer
• Final GIFs added to ppt

Lesson objective –
1. Make sure that all of your images are saved in to a folder and in the right order.
2. In PhotoShop change your Workspace to ‘Motion’

Navigate to your folder with images
To select all - CTRL A

Select ‘create frame animation’
Lesson objective –
Check that the frame 1 has appeared in the timeline
Lesson objective –
SelectAll layers
Lesson objective –
Click the menu icon on the right of the Timeline screen.
Create new layer for each new frame.
Lesson objective –
Open the same menu icon on the right, and choose "Make Frames From Layers."
Lesson objective –
All frames should now be displayed in the timeline
Lesson objective –
Select all frames in timeline (select first hold shift select last)Click time value to say ‘0.2 seconds’
Lesson objective –
Click the ‘Play’button to preview your GIFIf its too fast/slow change the time value

When you are happy with your GIF
FileExportSave for web

Preview againChange the size (percent)if its too big or small. This will depend on the initial size of your images
Save… to a sensible area with a sensible name.
