  • 1. Different Animals and their Natural Homes Cultural Arts Lesson Plan MaterialsPicture/ drawing of animals on folder/ cardboard. The pictures are colorful and attractive. Each has a label indicating the name of the animal shown. Examples of these animals are eagle,fish and others that are typically seen in the Philippines. Pictures of the habitat these animals dwell in, on folder/ card board.

2. Audio material of the sounds produced by these animals(For the puzzle activity) Cut-out pictures of the animals on folder and pictures of different places in nature which serve as home for these animals. These pictures have missing parts that the appropriate animals (cut-out) will fit in. Procedure (Presentation) 1.Present the picture of the animals one by one. While presenting, tell the name of the animal being shown. 2.Using an audio material, produce the sound the animal makes. 3.Ask the child abut his experiences with the said animal (e.g. if he has seen it in the actual life). Discuss with the child the features of the animal. 4.Initiate the puzzle activity. Direct the child to find the appropriate home of the cut-out animal by fitting it in the missing parts of the different places. Let the child explore the materials on his own.
