Learning Objectives : At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
1. Sing the song using their own cat name.
2. Make animal masks and wear the masks to sing the song.
Pupils’ Prior Knowledge : Pupils have learnt about animals.

Set Induction
(5 Minutes)
1. Teacher displays lyrics and plays the
song “BINGO” in front of the class.
2. Teacher asks pupils to sing the song
together.

Development
(30 minutes)
1. Teacher changes the lyrics of the song
“BINGO” into KITTY song.
2. Teacher displays lyrics of the song, KITTY
in front of the class.
3. Teacher asks pupils to sing the song
together.
4. Teacher asks pupils whether they have
seen a cat before.
5. Teacher asks pupils what can be seen at
a cat face.
6. Teacher draws a cat face in on the
whiteboard and tells pupils what can be
seen on a cat face.
7. Teacher distributes a template of the
cat face to each pupil.
8. Teacher asks pupils to draw the ears,
the nose and the whiskers of the cat by
their own.
9. Pupils are required to decorate and
colour the template given.

Assessment
(20 minutes)
1. Teacher asks pupils to write the name of
their cat at the back of the mask.
E.g. :
This is my cat.

Give freedom to
pupils to name
their own cat.
It is very _______. (smart/cute).
2. Teacher asks pupils to wear the cat
mask and show the teacher the ears,
eyes, whiskers and nose.
3. Teacher asks volunteers to sing the song
using the name given by him/her.
4. Then, teacher divides pupils into 5
groups.
5. Each group has to name their own cat.
For example : DIMBO.
6. Then, each group is required to sing the
song using the name chosen and they
can add gestures while singing.

1. All pupils are to sing the KITTY song
together.
