LESSON PLAN

STEPS

INDUCTION

( 5 MINUTES)

1) Teacher pastes a picture of a

boy on the board.

2) Teacher calls a few pupils to

draw out words from a

mystery box that is brought to

class.

3) Pupils will then guess the

story that they will learn.

4) Teacher then introduces the

topic and story of the lesson.

( 15 MINUTES)

1) Teacher asks pupils to take

out their book “The Little Blue

Boy”.

2) Pupils will then be divided into

groups to choral read the

story.

3) Teacher then checks their

understanding by asking

pupils questions.

e.g. What happen in the end of the story?

4) Next, teacher writes the

sequence of plot on the board

and explains the order of the

plot to the pupils.

e.g. beginning, rising, climax,

falling, resolution

5) Teacher also explains the

story sequence.

Practice

(15 MINUTES)

1) Pupils are divided into 5

groups

2) Each group will be given a

story line with one part of the

story missing out.

3) In groups, pupils are required

to come out with their own

idea of the plot sequence that

was taken out.

Appendix A

Production 1) Each pupil will be given a Appendix B

(20 MINUTES) worksheet.

2) Pupils are required to mix and

match the correct plot

according to the sequence

based on the picture cues

provided..

3) Answer will then be discussed

with pupils.

Closure

( 5 MIINUTES)

1) Teacher compliments the

pupils for their participation in

class.

2) Teacher wraps up the class by

asking questions to assure

that pupils understand the

lesson.
