LESSON AIM By the end of the lesson the students will have been introduced to new tense “Will” and practiced in a game LESSON FIT STAGE NUMBER AND TYPE Aim Interaction Time WARMERS DIFFERENT KINDS OF GREETINGS - Sts say hello using their parts of body (Shoulders, noses, fingers, feet) then they hug one person and finally one student hug two people. Get students in a good environment and make groups to work in class Whole group 3 mn. LEAD IN Teacher show a timeline on a big paper and elicit sts by showing some pictures; Do you know when will you marry? Or when will you die? Introduce the topic in get sts thinking about will T-SS 5 mns Sts make three lines in front of the board to play a game. Sts look for a statement chart in a box, and then they stick them below each picture. Student repeat and practice the pronunciation. Present new vocabulary and emphasis the pronunciation of each word T-SS 7 mns PRACTICE ( St pick up a folded little paper and each group get an envelope to play “THE FORTUNE TELLER” St ask their future to the fortune teller. Teacher ask to sts the use of will “prediction” Provide practice of and consolidate target language. T-SS Group of 3 8 minutes STIRRER In pairs students sit down back to back and read a short dialogue to fill the gaps. Get students develop speaking while practicing target language. In pairs 7 minutes PRE-TEACH Elicit feed en a difficult spelling (marry, divorced, die, have a house, a car,) To help students with next activity T-SS 5 minutes PRACTICE Work sheet – students correct some mistakes in Consolidate target language S 5 minutes
