The main objective for this lesson plan was to grab a partner and recall all of the material that had been learned in the previous lessons, and create a partner phrase that exhibited those learned movements. Then all of the partner groups showed their phrases to the class, and the class had to say the movement that was used during the partner groups phrase.

I chose to do this lesson because I assumed going into the lesson that most of the students would remember just about everything that we have learned so far, and could ask questions on the movements they struggled with. I was glad I allowed the students to work freely with their partner, because they felt like their phrase was very special because it is something they created themselves. As I walked around and observed the partner groups working, I gave positive feedback to the groups that were working hard and producing movement, and gave encouragement to the groups that were struggling to continue with their phrase.

Needs Most Improvement

• The lesson I felt needed the most improvement was Lesson Plan 5 entitled Use of Levels

The main objective for this lesson was to remember previously learned material as a group, and then do those movement in the high, mid, and low levels. We then incorporated fun games, such as red light green light and freeze dance, that allowed them to continue to practice their levels.

The reason this lesson struggled a little bit is because the students got the concept of the levels so fast, that they quickly became bored of the lesson and were ready to move onto new things. Because they were feeling this way, some of them became distracted and unfocused which caused me to have to focus my time on getting them interested in the lesson. But the games really did help with regaining their focus and to allow them to continue practicing their levels. This will help me in future lessons to know that sometimes students pick upon the material really fast, and that I always need to be prepared with more material than what was anticipated.
