RoseWood Village residents enjoy an enriching life in a neighborhood-style community, offering comfortable, spacious studios or one-bedroom suites that they can furnish to their own taste. Residents bring their own décor and mementos as they retain the comfort and security of being right at home.

Each RoseWood Village studio and suite is designed with our residents’ comfort, security and happiness in mind. They include a tea kitchen with refrigerator, full private bathroom and amenities such as cable and internet access, telephone and emergency response system.

Within each community, our RoseWood Village residents can enjoy a number of themed gathering venues to meet up with fellow residents, relax, socialize and participate in a flourishing neighborhood. They also have access to a variety of health, wellness and lifestyle destinations which include:

• Key West, Orangerie and Santa Fe lounges With entertaining, fun programs and events, Key West, Orangerie and Santa Fe lounges are where our residents gather with friends, family and visitors for a good time in a lively setting.

INNOVATIONS MEMORY CAREOne of the distinctive features of the RoseWood Village experience is our advanced Innovations Program that is tailored to the individual needs of our residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related concerns.

The foundation of the program is respecting the autonomy and individual decision-making our residents can still enjoy. We embrace our residents’ differences while encouraging their individuality. We are supportive of their choices and recognize the uniqueness of each of our residents.

Our Innovations Program coordinator and staff are trained specialists continuously educated and experienced in providing the highest level of care to our family of residents with memory-related concerns. The Innovations Program care plan involves physician recommendations and insights along with counsel and guidance from our Innovations Program coordinator, our direct-care staff, our resident’s family and the resident.

A primary feature of the Innovations Program is that care and supervision are provided around the clock. Our participants in the program enjoy time well spent in selected areas where they have many opportunities for spontaneous, one-on-one interaction and socialization between residents and our expert care providers. Our family of residents can also participate in small-group activities that lend an atmosphere of engagement in both mental and physical exercises.

Accommodation options for residents in our Innovations Program include both private and semi-private studios and suites with private, fully-accessible bathrooms.

OUR HISTORYIn 1983, the Tahboub family envisioned a new level of specialized, service-oriented long-term care for seniors in Charlottesville, Virginia. Since the inception of RoseWood Village decades ago, Virginia and Sameer Tahboub have been operating on the belief that a community that strikes a balance between independence and caring assistance will lead to enhanced benefits for our residents. Along with their team, they do this by offering a charming, captivating community that offers an array of enriching social, educational, wellness and practical components that encourage RoseWood Village residents to thrive. Their inspiration remains the joy, passion and contentment of their family of residents.
