WHY are you doing Arbonne? What do you want from it? What sort of income would you like to be earning
and when would you like to be earning that by?
When your sponsor knows what you want from this business, they can best help and support you through the
next few weeks and months. CREATING YOUR WHY Everyone who joins Arbonne has their own specific reasons for wanting to create an additional income. The
majority of Independent Consultants didn't have a childhood dream to run a Network Marketing Business, but
they all have dreams they are yet to fulfill and things they want/need to achieve in life. So here's where you
are invited to pin-point exactly what your reasons are.
What are you looking for?
What do you wish to be, do, or have? And when do you want it by? Right now? More fun? More money?
More time? More freedom?
Use the questions below to create a short paragraph and when your “why” is finished, please e-mail a copy
to your sponsor.
I WANT TO...
BE... Relaxed, more confident, closer to family and friends, happy, fulfilled.
DO... Have more than enough money, take a holiday, pick the kids up from school every day, go on a course,
learn something new, and create a charitable foundation.
HAVE... More free time, new carpet, extra cash, funding for a business, deposit on a house. WHEN... How
urgently do you want to achieve all these things? In a few months or years?

This is a MUST to get right ASAP so you know what to say when being asked what
you do? It must not exceed 60 seconds.
1: Your Background or what you are trained in (2 sentences max)
i.e... “I am a part time school teacher which I love and a mum of 3 beautiful kids”.
2: But/The Things you didn’t like........ (What you want extra??)
i.e... “But I am just really wanting to do something for myself” or “But teaching is
never going to pay me enough money for what we want to do”.
3: Then I Found Arbonne which is a network marketing Company which I never
thought I would do, but once I looked into it I just realised I was uneducated and I
just had to do it..
4: Your Results / how you feel about your future
And what it has given me not only financially which is amazing but I know exactly
what our future looks like and where we are heading as a family and I am so
excited to see the opportunities this will bring.

Here are a few GOLDEN GUIDELINES on HOW TO INTRODUCE ARBONNE
It is so important to make time to provide a clear overview of the Arbonne opportunity. People deserve to hear the whole story so that they
can make an informed decision.
Your number one priority is learning the Opportunity presentation and in the meantime get people in front of you and your sponsor. Please
read the do’s & don’ts below so you can use your sponsors hindsight as your foresight and get the very best start.
‘How to Talk about Arbonne!’
© 2014 Tamlyn Platts-Samuel
DO
Tell them the whole story.
Still talk about the things you love and mention Arbonne
where appropriate.
If people ask lots of questions whilst in a social situation just say
‘oh we’re out celebrating, let’s do coffee next week and I’ll
tell you all about it then.’
Make sure when you arrange to meet someone regarding
Arbonne that they understand you want to share a business
opportunity with them.
Create a lifestyle on facebook that people will be attracted
to.
Most importantly be you!
Always speak positively about Arbonne, your business and
your peers within it.
Be open-minded that some people may not understand
Arbonne or want to do it.
Treat it like a business.
If someone says YES – great, if someone says NO – fine.
Educate yourself and share facts about Arbonne.
DON'T
Start telling people half a story and “putting out the
feelers”.
Constantly talk about Arbonne.
You don’t want people to feel like that’s suddenly all you
talk about.
Turn social situations into a chance to talk about Arbonne,
you want to keep business and social separate.
Arrange a coffee with someone to catch up and then pull
out products without being upfront with them first.
Bombard your facebook page or
social media platform with just Arbonne.
Let other’s negativity effect you.
If someone hasn’t heard the full presentation they may not understand the concept of Arbonne.
Try to convince anyone.
“Amateurs convince and professionals sort”.
Get emotional about this business or take everything
personally.
Accept information or opinions from un-reputable sources (e.g anonymous blogs on-line)
Once you are registered, your ID and Pin are received and your New Consultant registration items have
arrived, we want to plan on building your team and preferred client base as quickly as possible.
It is important that your business reaches your network and there are a number of ways your sponsor will show
you how to do this.
1. You can either have a series of “Business Launches” together with your sponsor
2. You can either have a series of “One-to-One” meetings with your prospective business builders together
with your sponsor.
OR
3. You can have a series of “Product Presentations” together with your sponsor also.
We are all unique and can choose to operate our business’s however which way suits us best. We encourage
You to learn each approach as this will then arm you with all the skills needed to train down to your
consultants as your team grows.
You will be coached on all aspects of these by your sponsor, who will accompany you every single step of the
way.
The idea is to introduce ALL the people in your life to Arbonne, and in turn, into Arbonne consumers, plus help
those who wish to build a business with you to get started and join your team. These are the first steps toward
building and growing a thriving and successful business.
We believe the “Hybrid” approach to running your business is the best way forward, a little bit of everything!
Again welcome to Arbonne and LET’S DO THIS!!
‘Your First 30 Days!’
© 2014 Tamlyn Platts-Samuel
The one-to-one is fantastic way to present the business opportunity to anybody in your network. This can take
place in a coffee shop, your home, their home or over zoom (computer).
For your first 30 days, your sponsor will attend all of your one-to-one’s so that you can learn how to present the
business and to ensure any questions that may arise are answered correctly and with confidence and
experience.
For the first 30 days, your sponsor will attend all of your follow up’s too (these are conducted 2-3 days after the
one-to-one), again this is to ensure the business is presented correctly and every questions that may arise is
also answered correctly, with confidence and experience.
This is your opportunity to learn directly from your sponsor “in action”. You are not expected to know
everything the moment you become an independent consultant. Allow your sponsor to do all the work, once
you feel more confident, then let your sponsor know and take the lead. This is not a race, it is simply making
sure you are comfortable and effective in your future presentations.
Liaise with your sponsor to ensure when you book in your meetings, you together with your sponsor and your
prospect are available to attend. Plan your availability ahead.
Be clear with your guests of the meeting time and ensure you arrive to your meeting place 15 minutes prior to
commencement. Also advise that your sponsor shall be attending also and ask if this is ok!
Choose a venue that is quiet, free from distractions, and easy to get to.
Everything with this business needs to be simple and duplicable as we want people to realize ‘I could do that.’
‘The One-to-One!’
© 2014 Tamlyn Platts-Samuel
You can invite your friends or colleagues either over the phone, via text message or face “to” face.
(Choose a variation of these examples that works best for you, then re-write in your own words)
"Hi This is just a quick call/text. I‘ve started a new business. I’m really excited. I would love to tell you
all about it. When do you have an hour in the next week, for us to meet for coffee?"
Which date is best for you?“ Date #1: ________ Date #2: ________
"Hey it’s here, I’m just calling/texting to let you know I have an incredible opportunity I would
like to share with you. I’m so excited and can’t wait for you
to hear about it too, as I know you are looking for a way to have more time at home with the kids. It's just so
important to me that you here this as you are a very close friend of mine and I would love your support.
Which date is best for you?“ Date #1: ________ Date #2: ________
If anyone asks what you are doing, take into consideration who you are talking to and say with confidence
and excitement.
“Your 60 second story….”
OR
‘I'd prefer to give you the whole story, which you will hear when we meet"
Share with your sponsor your replies if you need assistance then they can guide you on the correct response!

Your business launch is usually a mix of business opportunity presentation and product presentation. It is a great way to share the Arbonne Business Opportunity and incredible products whilst you are still learning
the presentation yourself, as your sponsor is there to help. Take advantage of your sponsor's experience and
knowledge and invite as many people as possible. Refer back to your 100 Peoples list and highlight who you
are going to invite.
Some people who come will be interested in the Business, some in the products, and some just want to
support you, they can also help you by referring people to you.
You don’t need to hire a venue or worry too much about refreshments. It’s about getting a group of friends
round a table to hear about your exciting new business. So either do it at your home, round a table in a
nearby coffee shop or hotel lounge.
Ideally between 6-10 people in attendance. Your sponsor will present for you so that you can learn how it's
done, which will help you begin to feel more confident with doing elements of it yourself in the future when
ready.
Liaise with your sponsor to ensure that when you book in your launches, you together with your sponsor are
available to attend. Plan your availability ahead.
Be clear with your guests what time the presentation will start i.e. 7pm for a 7.30pm presentation.
Choose a venue that is quiet, free, and easy to get to.

Make a list of guests for each date and get as many confirmations as you can. Invite more people than you
need, in case of last minute cancellations... you want to make sure you allow for that. If people can’t make
either date, then arrange a one-to-one with them and your sponsor. Just say:
"OK, I totally understand that you are busy on those dates. I would still love to tell you all about it. When have
you got half an hour in the next couple of weeks, for us to meet for coffee?"

to treat the 15th of the month like the last day to
avoid a rush at the end.
CONSULTANT MAINTENANCE
To remain a consultant, you must accumulate
1200 PQV across a 12 month period from when
you start in your business.
MONTHLY REQUIREMENTS – 150 PQV
Every month you need 150PQV in order to be
paid, to stay in qualification and
to qualify for any incentives taking place at the
time.
Ensure your 150PQV is in early as avoid a last
minute rush.

OPPORTUNITY PRESENTATIONS
Please remember that these events are opportunities for you to grow not only your business but also your
knowledge. Be mindful that potential prospects are at these venues so always refrain from discussing your
“not so good” experiences or struggles you have. There are ears everywhere and we want to portray this
business as positive as it can be, we also want to assist our sidelines wherever possible. Always dress to
impress!!
SPONSORING ETIQUETTE
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
In the situation that more than one person has spoken to your prospect, the general rule is that the first
person who has spoken to them and presented the business, given them samples and met with them, will be
their sponsor. If in doubt, it is manners to have a conversation with the other consultant before moving
forward. In a predicament it is the choice of the prospect who they would like to be their sponsor. Please
refer to Arbonne Policies and Procedures for details on this.
SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE
-Don’t use Facebook to sell products (see B.E.S.T)
-Do not make any claims
-Do not post “before & after” shots
-Do draw “attention” to the lifestyle
-Create a business page and share posts created from Arbonne Australia on this page only
-Use Social media as a tool, do not let it destroy your network as is so easily done!

Communication
EMAILS
Be sure to check your emails
daily. It is your responsibility to
keep your team in the loop.
Always forward emails on
immediately. Even if the email is
not relevant to you – it may be
relevant to someone else on your
team.
SHARE YOUR CHALLENGES
If you need help with anything –
always make sure you speak to
your sponsor. Never call to speak
to your down line - your
negativity will rub off. Never
moan down – call your sponsor
when you have any issues.
ASK FOR HELP
Always ask your up line along
when you speak to someone
about Arbonne for the first time.
They want to help and will be
able to guide you through the
presentation and objection
handling until you feel confident
to do it yourself.

Set Goals “What is your game plan”
Now set your goals for your Arbonne Business – choose what you want
from this business and ask your sponsor to help you set goals to achieve
that.
Aim for Area Manager qualification in your first month to get your business
off to a flying start.
Make sure your goals are SMART
Specific - state EXACTLY what you want in your goal
Measurable - have ‘half- way’ goals to keep you on track
Achievable - your sponsor will help you make an achievable goal
Realistic - know what you need to do to achieve this goal
Time Specific - write your goal in the present tense as though
you have achieved it, stating the date with day, month and year
