Ss of both partner classes are separated into two intercultural groups: The Caters and the Pillars It can be the lesson of just one class. Description of the lesson plan 1 Introducing (2 minutes) T shows the cover of the book to the pupils and elicits answers T. asks them what the book is about T. asks Ss to make a prediction on what they are going to do today. 2 Brainstorming (4 minutes) Ss say what a caterpillar eats and write them on an AnswerGarden In case the children do not know the word the T. helps them write it. 3 Deciding (10 minutes) The T. reads the story. T. help Ss understand the story by explaining it in their mother tongue. They decide which parts of the story they will draw T. writes the number of the pictures they will draw on the board ( 9 pictures ) Ss are separated in two 2 groups: The Caters who will draw the story ( about one picture for a group of 2 or 3 Ss) The Pillars who will write the story ( about one description for a picture for a group of 2 or 3 Ss) 4 Meeting Online (5 minutes) The two teams greet each other and decide what each of them will do. 5 Creating (20 minutes) The Caters draw the pictures and the Pillars write the corresponding lines The Pillars read the story and the Caters show the corresponding picture The Ts. export the AnswerGarden to Tagxedo and upload it together with the pictures and descriptions on the Materials on Twinspace to make the ebook on issuu. 6 Evaluating (4 minutes) Ss of both classes draw on colorillo flowers or trees if they enjoyed the story and clouds if there was sth they did not like.
