PunctumhasanationalandinternationalreputationasaLiveArtblueprintproducer.TheycreatenewmodelsforLiveArtpracticeandproviderareopportunitiesforLiveArtartiststo

undertakethedevelopmentofnewworkinregionalsettings.Theyenableartiststoworkin

close collaboration with regional communities and conceive ofworks that draw upon a

uniqueengagementwithplaceandthepeopleofit.

IwelcomethisgreatopportunitytopartnerwithPunctumtotaketheirworkandthatofthe

artists with whom they collaborate, into a deeper and broader context that has the

potentialtogenerateanongoingmodelforLiveArtpracticethatisspecifictoAustralia.

Having collaborated with Punctum on The Coriolis Effect a key project programmedwithinthe2012RegionalArtsAustraliaConferenceandFestival,Ihavelivedfirsthandthe

stimulating, supportive and professional environment that Punctum successfully

implementsforartists.

AspartofmyinvolvementintheCuratorium,Iamkeenlycommittedtocreatingwaysin

whichthenewworksandpracticesstemmingfromSeedpodAmplifiedcanberelocatedand

configuredforCampbelltownArtsCentre.
