Dear Sir/Madam

Master in Scientific Computing I have chosen in your university is my area of interest. I am

enthusiastic that I am able to unleash my creativity after doing this course as area of my

specialization. In addition to that I think it is the right time and a golden chance for me to do

master after my bachelor, as nowadays I am energetic, fresh, passionate, and able to fulfil my

dreams. My honourable teacher who is also my role model gives me actionable advice about

this field. To him I stand a good chance of having a successful life by doing this course from

your university.

My journey towards Computer Science started when I saw a computer for the first time in

2001. It was my best friend’s computer and he told me some functionality about it. As a

matter of fact, that was the moment when I was struck by the amazing functionality of

computer. I convinced my parents ⎯ my mother travelled with me about 695-kilometer from

Quetta city to Karachi in order to get me the latest computer. I studied some interesting

computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Word,

and Microsoft Excel in training centres. Such programs where so attractive to me as long as I

was not enrolled in COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad. But the

university life changed my concept about computers after I got to know about computer

programming. Giving commands to computer and getting an output was so logical and

amazing. That is why I know well enough about programming languages and mathematical

subjects. Hence, my final year project (Peer to Peer Communication Using Reliable UDP)

was among the best projects where I learned and explored a lot of new things.

Computer science is a creative and innovative field where we can make imaginative use of

computer software. We can invent and explore new things for making life easy. The rapid

advancement during the past decade in information technology is an obvious evidence of

computer science and it’s scope. Most importantly, computer networks have made the world

a global village where people from different corner of the world come together and share

ideas on a single platform. In the light of above facts this course will provide me excellent

career opportunities in my future. There are many jobs available in Pakistan to do such as

private and government companies. But I love to explore new things in the leading markets

and companies effectively and efficiently after completing my master degree.

Two out of three students in Pakistan wish to go abroad for higher studies. I am confident

that I would be one of the luckiest among those who will get admission at your university. I

believe in changes and this is in my nature. I have decided to go abroad as I have selected

Islamabad for my bachelor degree. Islamabad is 1020 kilometer far away from my hometown

for which I have to travel 35 hours on train, 24 hours on buses or 90 minutes on airplane.

Islamabad is a multicultural society and I know how it is important. That is why Germany,

being the finest multicultural society with best facilities will give me lots of things that will

improve my portfolio and enhance my knowledge. While in Pakistan I am not able to update

my theoretical and practical skills due to improper work and study structure. Moreover,

Scientific computing is very rarely thought subject in Pakistani universities.

I found your institute very well suited for my aims and objectives. I would like to be the part

of your esteemed institute and learn latest trends in the chosen area of my study. You have

offered me admission for this subject on 4th September 2014 but unfortunately due to lack of

appointment with the German Embassy in Islamabad I missed to provide the necessary

documents. It is my humble request to consider my application again for the next session. I

will do my best if enrolled in your university and I assure that the administration of the

country will find me a good and genuine international student by obeying all the rules and

regulations.
