have been acceptable to date.• Musson continues perimeter drainage piping installation. Terra/Musson eliminated piping in

some areas where not needed—was confirmed with Pete Creamer of RMT.• Miller has documented a portion of drainage layer to allow geotextile placement.• CFM began geotextile placement this morning-beginning in middle of site and working

south. Rolls are being deployed in an east-west direction.i/« Gas vents are complete with the exceptionof the sample ports.

3. Planned progress for next period

"• GSI to repair failed scam today.^* Continue drainage layer placement~should be complete by Wed. 8/28. RMT to collect

• RMT to check on outstanding sand drainage layer laboratory test results.« Bill Schulz from WDNR visited site on 8/20 to view geomembrane installation-indicated that

things looked good.• WDNR will be on-site on Wed. 8/28 to perform pre-final inspection at Lemberger Landfill site

and may visit LTR site.• After this week, Black & Veatch (EPA Oversight) personnel will begin splitting time between

Lemberger and Janesville sites.

Along the effluent pipeline route from the Treatment Facility to the Branch River:1. The Bnnin property must be cleaned up, including the removal of the dead

trees and limbs, rocks, hay bales, and any other material that wasnt presentbefore the start of the project, regraded, and seeded.

2. The Lemberger property must be cleaned up. regraded. and seeded.3. The EW-2D well site must be cleaned up, and regraded.4. The driveway to the Ledvina House must have the existing rock, placed

during previous storms to prevent washout, removed, suitable crushed rockplaced, and regraded.

5. The area around the culvert, beneath the Ledvina driveway, must be regradedso water can freely flow to and through the culvert. If there is any material

inside the culvert as « result of the construction activities, the culvert shall bethoroughly cleaned.

6. The ditch that runs to the southwest from the culvert beneath the Ledvioadriveway shall be smoothly graded to allow water to freely flow and shall besloped to aDow access to the outfall and Extraction Well EW-SI by the Q&MContractor.

7. All areas of toe effluent pipeline route shall be cleaned, including the removalof rock, excess dirt, and pieces of pipe, regraded, and seeded.

8. The rock pile adjacent to Extraction Well EW-5I shall be removed, the arearegraded and seeded.

9. Contractor is to ensure that an field drain tiles have been replaced or repaired.10. From Station 36*10 to Station 42+46, Contractor is to ensure that there is a

n of 5 feet of cover on top of the pipe after the area has been cleanedup and regraded.

For the landfill cap and general items:I- Contractor to check that all bollards have been installed and painted. Any

bollards mat have received one coat of paint and the primer is stiD visible mustbe recanted.

2. Contractor to check that the bolts have been installed in til of the well caps.3. Contractor'to check that all wells have locks on them.4. Contractor to check that ill electrical boxes have locks on them.3. Remove all hay bales and silt fence from the ate.6. Grade the perimeter of the site to meet the existing grades.7.
