Thank you for talking to me and the opportunity to defend myself.

Please find the following:

1. Press Release dated 2nd July, 2013 from me when the allegations about 108 AmbulanceService and me (Shaffi Mather) was first raised by Shri. V S Achuthanandan.

I also request you to see my Asset Disclosure Statement submitted to Government of Keralawhich I believe is still on the Government website..... This disclosure statement also containsmy shareholding in both Ziqitza Health Care Limited and Mather and Company Pvt. Ltd....

In view of the above, please see that the motive in sensationalising by few channels andnewspapers of having received documents and / or found out about my shareholding /Mather and Company's shareholding in Ziqitza Health Care Limited? Is it not patentlyUNFAIR to me in the current media-political environment to sensationalise this when I havemyself disclosed this in multiple forums..... Please note that I fully respect media's right toquestion about use / misuse of Government funds in 108 Ambulance Service, TA / DA drawn

by me from Government, my travels abroad and any other front..... and I have no qualmsand / or reservations about you stating or bringing any such matter to the notice of public.

My sense of hurt is that no one in TV channels and / or newspapers bothered to even checkmy proactive Asset disclosure made on the Government website in Sep 2012, my pressrelease and letter to the Hon. CM, Kerala on 2nd July, 2012 and matters disclosed in thelegal notices to Indiavision TV Channel and Shri. V S Achuthanandan but just went ahead

and sensationalized my share (and my family companys share) in Ziqitza Health CareLimited.

In my legal notice to Shri. V S Achuthanandan, I have clearly acknowledged my respect forhis position as Hon. Leader of Opposition, Kerala, his political stature and seniority and his

right to question use / misuse of government funds as the Hon. Leader of Opposition, Keralabut at the same time challenged his defamatory and slanderous statements about me.

The difficulties and differences in my family is widely known in the Society in Keralaespecially in Ernakulam. It is most unfortunate and emotionally traumatic in any family. It isemotionally traumatic for all members of my family including, I believe, for my brother, hiswife and his kids. The dispute with my brothers is not about wealth at all, atleast from myfather's and my end. It is about how they managed / mismanaged businesses, is managing /mismanaging businesses, misused family name and network and continue to use / misusefamily name and network. I have made this also clear in my resignation letter to CM and thecorresponding Press Release which is also enclosed herewith.

Please do dig deeper into wrongs that I have done and expose it but humbly request you tobe fair to me, my parents, my sister when reporting news especially those informationwhich are in the public domain and / or has been proactively disclosed by me....
