Max Kelly is Managing Director of Virgin Insight, a data and marketing services company created and owned by the Virgin Group. He has been with Virgin since 2001 and in his previous role in the Corporate Development Division he created new Virgin businesses including Virgin Mobile USA, Virgin Mobile Canada, Virgin Health Bank and latterly Virgin

Insight itself, sitting on a number of company Boards. Alongside this entrepreneurial role, he also developed the strategy for the Virgin Group between 2003-2007. Prior to joining Virgin, Max worked at the digital agency Razorfish and the internet fashion retailer boo.com. He began his career at L’Oreal, where he was Group Brand Manager for Haircare. Max was a scholar at Oxford University where he obtained a First Class Degree in Chemistry.

modelling. Prior to GSK worked as university professor. Received MS, PhD and ScDr degrees in Probability & Statistics from Kiev University, Ukraine. For more than 20 years served as Professor & Head of the Applied Statistics Department established by himself at Kiev University. Published about 200 papers, several books, supervised 24 Ph.D. theses. Member of the National Academy of Sciences in Ukraine and Honorary Professor in the School of Mathematics & Statistics, University of Glasgow, UK.
