Since 1976, we have helped students from around the world to speak English with confidence. Our achievements, including a perfect score in every ISI inspection, place us among the best independent language schools in the UK.

Our focus is you – your well-being, your progress, your happiness. We aim to make sure you are having the best possible time as you discover the UK and develop your English. Set in a row of four 18th-century buildings with rear gardens, our school typically has 60-120 students per week, and 50+ nationalities per year. Lessons at Lewis are fun, challenging and interactive. We learn about each of you and adapt our lessons to meet your needs. A highly creative school with a Teacher Training Centre, we constantly explore new ways to inspire your learning.
