Thank you Holy Spirit
for a legacy of glory!
LGI celebrates its 9th year!
Thank you Holy Spirit for gifting us with a legacy of glory. The word of God declares
that the Holy Spirit ministry is a ministry of glory. LGI recipients of the blessings from the
Holy Spirit gathered together last July 27 in LGI's Thanksgiving Dinner at Dolce Latte.
Together, we gratefully acknowledged the revelatory nature of the LGI ministry, i.e., reaching
God’s heart, revealing God’s kingdom-secrets, and releasing God’s power. Thank you Holy
Spirit for teaching us to move in Your Presence and in Your Power. Thank you for teaching us
how to love God and even how to exercise the complexities of loving one another.
Through the years, the Lord has established a Learning Center on Biblical Studies and
Christian Life Skills. An offshoot of this center is our Prayer Ministry we call WindWatch,
managed by LGI-trained prophetic teams of lay pastors, prayer leaders, intercessors, worship
leaders and preachers. We have over 10 WindWatch prayer meetings held weekly, about 5 in
Metro Manila and Pampanga, and mostly in Mindanao. A Prayer group in Sydney also uses
our WindWatch messages for their meetings.
I thank LGI, led by Pastor Cris Navarro, our new Executive Director, and our founding
Board members: Pastor Bernie Morales, Pastor Bing Dakanay, and Pastor Sonny Navarro
for honoring my retirement as LGI Executive Director for 9 exciting years. Our beloved Board
Secretary-Treasurer, Atty. Carmel Perfecto, peacefully went home with the Lord just about a week
before our event. Pastor Liza Garcia is currently pastoring a church in the USA but was with us in
spirit. I also thank God for giving LGI a Work Team who loves the Lord and flows with the Spirit-
Cookie Calaguas, Dr. Mimi Damian, Aaron Dait, Laarni de Belen and Ptr. Ester Bartolome.
Thank you LGI Family for blessing me with your presence that evening, and your
delightful testimonies of our Holy Spirit experiences together. I will not forget those who were
with me in the very beginning when LGI was struggling to survive- you supported me
spiritually, emotionally and financially. I honor you unto the Lord, asking Him to reward you
as He sees fit- siksik, liglig at umaapaw! Today, many others have joined us in this ministry.
They are just as excited, reaping the benefits of the hard work we have put in. They too are
working hard- teaching, preaching, healing, giving. They too shall be rewarded! Together, we
are expanding to include many others who will reach God's heart, reveal God's kingdom-secrets
and release God's power to heal and to transform, from glory to glory! Thank you for your
partnership. It was fruitful, powerful and mostly, it was fun!
And now, everyone, the Holy Spirit invites us to welcome a new season of breakthroughs
and expansion, for LGI and for all of you!!! Thank you Lord.
Advancing the Jesus Agenda with you,
Pastor Mina
LGI praises God
for the life of Atty.
Carmel C. Perfecto
LGI gives thanks to our Lord Jesus
Christ for the life of our beloved Board
Secretary-Treasurer Carmel who
peacefully passed on to the next life
last July 24, 2012.
Carmel took charge of all our legal
papers and transactions from the first
day of our incorporation in 2003 up to
2012. She actively raised funds for us
especially during the first years when we
had practically nothing. She was a
founding member of our 5-year-old
WindWatch Prayer Ministry and served
as a prayer intercessor for 4 years.
Carmel retired from the NEDA as one of
its Directors. She is one of the pillars of
the Cosmopolitan Church where she sang
in the Choir for 60 years. Praise God for
gifting LGI with a competent and
committed servant of God. Till we see
each other again Carmel. We miss you.
LGI welcomes new
Board members
It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to
us to add Dr. Mimi Damian and Pastor
Vida Mei Rivera as the newest members
of our LGI Board of Directors.
Both are co-founders of the WindWatch
Prayer Ministry which was launched in
January 01, 2007. Pastor Mimi is
currently serving as LGI’s WindWatch
Coordinator. Pastor Vida Mei established
a WindWatch Ministry in Pampanga last
year. Both are also members of the LGI
pool of faculty.

LGI turns over its one-year-old WindWatch
Holy Spirit Ministry to Puno UMC
Thank you Holy Spirit for using five Spirit-filled people to usher the birthing of the glorious
ministry of the Holy Spirit. During the last quarter of 2011, the wind of the Spirit started to
blow in the hearts of Rev. Dr. Mina Palomo, Rev. Dave Sablan, Atty. Charles Puno, Ms. Ester
Lee Paragas, and Chief Justice Reynato Puno (Ret.). The Holy Spirit gave them a common
vision of enabling Christians to rise to a new level of faith and worship. The Church Council of
the Puno United Methodist Church (PUMC) in Quezon City through the leadership of their
Council Chair CJ Puno eagerly welcomed the works of the Holy Spirit in their church. They
generously and graciously allowed LGI to hold WindWatch in their beautiful sanctuary. On
September 01, 2011, WindWatch Don Antonio (WWDA) was born from the heart of God. About
thirty people gladly received this ministry.
The Holy Spirit established this ministry through the leadership of Rev. Criscelyn Navarro as
she taught the people about the works of the Holy Spirit for one year. WindWatch co-founders
Pastor Mimi Damian and Ms. Cookie Calaguas supported her from the very beginning. The
well-crafted and anointed messages of the WindWatch Curriculum written by Pastor Mina cut
people to the heart and empowered them to hear and obey God’s voice. They were impassioned
to worship and emboldened to pray in Jesus’ Name. Many received the anointing and baptism of
the Holy Spirit and experienced various healings, deliverance, signs, wonders, and miracles.
A year later, WWDA has doubled in size as around eighty people gathered to celebrate its first
year founding anniversary last September 6. LGI also officially turned over WWDA to the
leadership of PUMC. Pastor Mina was overwhelmed by the hunger, passion, and anointing of
the people at WWDA for God. In a letter of commendation to them, she wrote, “I did not
anticipate the powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit upon you. Now, after one year, you can very
well manage WindWatch on your own. You managed to raise up Holy Spirit preachers and
prophets and prayer leaders! I praise God that you were able to establish the ministry and
secure it in one year, even less!”
Our confidence is in the Holy Spirit who blesses us with spiritual gifts to build up the church.
He has equipped godly men and women who are sensitive to His voice and will. The PUMC
pastors Rev. Noel Legaspi and Rev. Dave Sablan will now oversee WindWatch Puno together
with: (1) WindWatch Preachers: CJ Puno, Rose Regalia, Ester Lee, Charles, and Cookie;
(2) Prayer Leaders: CJ Puno, Fred and Rose Soberano, Joseph Velasquez, Reynato Velasquez,
Isaac and Rikki Puno, Bella Panggabean, Ester Lee, Rose, Charles, and Cookie; (3) Worship
Team: Benedict Samonte, Laarni de Belen, Jake Crisolo, Tristan Santiago, Bogs Feliz, Jovanni
Maquiling, Charles, Cookie, Joseph, and Bella; (4) Usher: Mye Regalia; (5 ) WindWatch
Coordinators: Charles and Ester Lee.
We look forward to the new year ahead with greater revelations from God! We declare a
stronger blow of the Spirit’s wind that will take WindWatch Puno to greater heights of glory,
mightier exploits in the faith, and deeper excitement for the mysteries and revelations of the
Spirit. Let there be an increase in anointing as you continue to hunger and thirst for the Lord.
God will surely finish this good work that He started in you! Mighty miracles, signs and
wonders shall accompany you and usher you into a life of glory! - PCN
