The candidates who qualify the main examination(s) will have to undergo a Skill Test for finding out their proficiency in handling PBX Board.

The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research. Common General Knowledge on Hygiene and Health. GENERAL INTELLIGENCE:- The questions will be of Matriculation standard and would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, visual memory, discrimination observation and relationship concepts and Matriculation standard Arithmetic. SKILL TEST : Skill test will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify in the written test. The candidates will be called for the Skill Test in the ratio: 1 Post - 5 2 & above – 2x + 4 . 1. Must have passed Matriculation from a recognized University or Board.

2. Must possess license for driving light and heavy vehicles with basic knowledge in automatic repairing..

2. General English :- The questions will include candidate’s understanding of the Basics of English Language, its vocabulary grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc.

3. General Driving Awareness :- The test will include common questions on General Knowledge. Traffic Rules, Knowledge about Motor Vehicles, their maintenances and repair.

SKILL TEST:-

Skill Test on Driving shall be conducted for only those candidates who attain a minimum qualifying standard in the written examination . Number of candidates to be called for the Skill Test should be 1:5 i.e, five times the number of vacancies. The Skill Test on driving will be same/similar to the tests as are being conducted by the RTOs for giving Driving License.

The grading of candidates ( selected in Written Test) will be done based on their assessed skill in driving , without taking into account the marks scored in the written Test. ==================================================================================== 6. 1. Driving Test: The test will be same/similar to the test as are being conducted by the RTOs before issuing Driving License. 2. Concepts of transportation of sick and injured. 3. Basic knowledge of First-aid. 4. Practical knowledge about preliminary maintenance/repairs of Ambulance vehicles. GENERAL CONDITIONS

1) Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format (A4) as given below. The Candidates should write the required information in English (CAPITAL LETTERS) or in Hindi. Those candidates who fill up the Application Form in Hindi, should write their NAME and ADDRESS in English CAPITAL LETTERS also.

2) Age relaxation :- (i) Relaxation in upper age limit will be 03 years to OBC candidates applying for the post of Wardsahayak

and Ambulance Driver (OG) only, subject to production of OBC certificate with Non-Creamy layer from the Competent Authority, as age relaxation would be available for the posts advertised under reserved categories in terms of DOPT OM.No.36011/1/98-Estt.(Res) dated 01-07-1998

(ii) Relaxation in upper age limit for PHP candidates will be 10 years in identified posts. (iii) Ex-serviceman will be given relaxation of 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered by

them from the actual age, which will not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post. However, no posts are reserved for Ex-serviceman.

(iv) Departmental candidates/ Govt. servant with three years continuous service in Central Govt. will be given age relaxation as per rules.

3) The candidates who are working in Central/State Government or any public sector undertaking should enclose NOC in original, from his employer along with his application. If a candidate enters into Government service after sending the application form, he must produce NOC from his employer at the time of undergoing any of the further processes for the recruitment/selection.

4) A crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank worth of Rs. 50/ (Rupees Fifty only)drawn in favour of General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirapalli towards application fee should be submitted along with application. The examination fee is not refundable. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PH(PC) need not send any postal order/DD.

5) Ex-servicemen( XSMs) should submit their application form along with a copy of the discharge certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, otherwise the application will not be considered. The XSMs may be considered along with other candidates if otherwise found suitable.

6) The Physically Handicapped Persons having minimum 40% disability identified suitable for the post may also apply for the post. The PHPs should submit a copy of the disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Medical authorities, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the application form.

7) Submission of false/incorrect/incomplete information or bogus documents shall disqualify the candidates.

8) Along with the application form, the prescribed Fee and/ or attested copy of SC/ST/PH/XSM certificate, as the case may be enclosed. 9) Candidates appearing for written test will come at their own expense. However, outstation SC/ST candidates will be paid TA of second class Railway/Bus fare on production of Railway/Bus tickets by shortest route as per rules. For this purpose, the name of the nearest Railway Station must be mentioned in the application.

10) No GPF/DCRG scheme is admissible to the posts under Central Govt. w.e.f 01-01-2004. The New Pension scheme is Defined Contribution Pension Scheme which is compulsory for all Central Govt. Employees, who are appointed on or after 01-01-2004.

11) Only attested copies of certificates in support of educational/technical qualification, caste and date of birth are to be enclosed with the application. Certificate not having the date of issue will not be accepted. The certificates attested by Gazetted Officer or the Principal/ Headmaster of the school should be enclosed. 12) A recent passport size photograph ( not more than 03 months old) should be pasted (not Stapled) by the applicant on the application form duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Principal of the School which he or she has last attended. The impression of attestation should come both on photograph and
