Brand AssociationsVolvo: Liam has owned 3 different types of Volvo models for the last 12 years. He is loyal

to Volvo because it is a Swedish brand, and he is convinced it’s the highest quality vehicle brand on the road.  He refuses to buy a Japanese-made vehicle.

Gevalia coffee products:  Liam grew up with his parents drinking Gevalia coffee, and began drinking coffee with his parents around age 12.  Gevalia is also a Swedish brand, and Liam is loyal to this brand because its unique flavor is nostalgic to his childhood.

PlayStation: Liam recently purchased a Japanese product – a PlayStation video game console.  He plays games on the weekend to get his mind off his stressful job.

Digital SRL Camera: Canon EOS Rebel XS 18-55IS.  Liam purchased this camera in Japan for $600 USD.  He uses it for his digital photography hobby.  It is his first big camera purchase, and he is happy with it so far, but doesn’t have anything to compare it to.

One reason he wanted to go on vacation to get away from anything work related. Liam is not directly a people person but when the given situation comes he may come off as awkward or a jerk but it is because he has no social skills. He is currently in a relationship with a long time friend. He used to buy expensive products with no thought about it but he is making a lot less money than he was.
