It is very important that we work together to create goodwill for the University during the recruiting process. Many alumni and

University friends apply to Pepperdine positions and the manner in which we communicate regarding their interest makes an

indelible impression. Although our applicant tracking system sends out generic email notices after you make a final selection,

we ask that you respond to applicants throughout the process.

To assist you, we have developed a library of Applicant Response Memos. Included are short email messages which are de

signed to be personalized and sent to applicants who:

• You do not plan to interview;

• You have interviewed but do not plan to continue in the selection process; and

• Those candidates who completed the selection process but to whom you do not plan to offer the position.

You will also notice a second set of memorandums written especially for alumni of the University.

Your support in giving personal and timely responses to all applicants is appreciated. It will have a significant impact on their

overall experience with Pepperdine University.
