DESCRIPTION

Voter’s must reject the slate of candidates being run by the clergy, Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee, and Mayor Ernie Davis. The candidates are Omar McDowell, Darcy Miller, and Charmaine Fearon. These three candidates have joined forces and made an unholy alliance with Rev. W. Franklyn Richardson of Grace Baptist Church and Bishop Collie Edwars of Friendship Worship Center. Both Pastors in recent days have been telling members of the public that they are proud of “their” candidates and have been pushing hard to get them elected. As usual, Richardson and Edwars have decided to back a group of incompetent individuals that have no clue as to what is going on. The candidates are “Manchurian Candidates” and have been pre-programmed to continue the corruption that is plaguing the Mount Vernon City School District. One candidate in particular has not been honest with voters and may possibly be involved in criminal activity. Why would clergy embrace Omar McDowell and his outright lies?Omar McDowell on two occasions, with the last one being May 5, 2014 at a forum at Greater Centennial Church, said that he owns his own business, is self-employed, and is licensed as a insurance broker to sell insurance. An investigation by Mount Vernon Exposed has revealed that Omar McDowell is not currently licensed as a insurance agent in the State of New York. In fact, Omar McDowell’s license has been expired since December 20, 2012. It is a misdeamor to sell insurance in New York State without a license. If Omar McDowell cannot do something so simple to keep his license up to date, how can taxpayers trust him to administer a budget of almost $250 Million dollars? If Omar is breaking the law now, we can imagine the corruption Omar will be involved in once elected. What does it mean if my agent license is in inactive status?• A: If there are no current company appointments on file for an agent, the agent's license is considered to be inactive. An agent is required to have at least one company appointment on file in order to sell insurance. The appointment must be filed within 15 days of either the date an agency contract is executed with the insurance company or the date the first insurance application is submitted.

If the agent's license is in an inactive status at the time of renewal, a renewal application maybe completed. However, if the agent is still in an inactive status at the next renewal, the agent will not be eligible to renew unless an appointment is filed on behalf of the agent.A complaint and a copy of the two recordings of Omar McDowell have been sent to the Department of Financial Services for immediate investigation.
