Your Fut ureproof Hom e
Use this handy checklist to test how well your current home will suit your needs (or your parents') into the future.
For more advice on home modifications for safe and independent living you can contact TADWA to arrange an in-home assessment by one of our specialist Occupational Therapists.
The vast majority of older people want to stay living in their family home for as long as possible.
Sadly, too many people are forced into residential aged care facilit ies prematurely, as the result of an accident at home or simply because their family home no longer allows them to live independently.
But with some pre-planning and investment, your home can adapt to support you as your needs change.
TADWA has been helping people to live independent and safe lives in their own homes for over 35 years.
We can help you - or your parents - to futureproof your home so you can enjoy many more years of independent living.
