Day 1 Vilnius

Arrival in Vilnius. Transfer from the airport to Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva **** or similar. Check-in and the rest of the day/aftenoonfree until your welcome meeting. Overnight

Day 2 Vilnius

Breakfast buffet. Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tourincludes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter andPaul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an excursion to Trakai, themedieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the eveningenjoy the folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.

Day 3 Vilnius - Riga

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Heading for Riga, the first stop is the Hills of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania.

After crossing into Latvia you soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke ofCourland. After a guided tour of the palace you travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the lateafternoon, check-in at Hotel Wellton Riverside **** or Semarah Grand Poet ***** or similar. Day 4 Riga

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals andboasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral,St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. Theafternoon is reserved for a visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Riga

Buffet breakfast at hotel. After you got acquainted with Riga we’ll have the possibility of discovering medieval Latvia. The tourfor this day takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. You'll listen to the medievalLatvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle, the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before wereturn to Riga. The afternoon offers a visit to the Riga Motor Museum which has an impressive collection of vintage car includinga very unique collection of old Soviet limousines from the Kremlin Garage. In the evening you'll enjoy a Latvian dinner sea food,typical for Baltic Countries, in a nice restaurant Forest. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Riga-Tallinn

Buffet breakfast at hotel. The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu, with a shorttour of the resort and a leisurely stroll along the beach. You continue through the North Estonian land of forests to Tallinn. Check-in at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia**** or Blu Sky ***** or similar. Overnight.

Day 7 Tallinn

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is abusy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tourtakes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, AlexanderNevsky Cathedral and medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an excursion to Kadriorg Park with a visit to KUMU, the award-winning new Estonian art museum, with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. The evening offers a genuinemedieval dinner at the Restaurant Maikrahv. Overnight.

Day 8 Tallinn-Helsinki

Breakfast buffet. This day offers first a day excursion to Lahemaa National Park, where you visit Palmse Manor, a memorial tothe von Pahlen family, and Sagadi Manor. The tour ends with a visit to the charming 16th century Vihula Manor and the VodkaMuseum. After lunch break, you head back to Tallinn to take the ferry to Helsinki and enjoy a refreshing tour through the Finnisharchipelago before arriving in Helsinki. Upon arrival you are transferred to our hotel and check-in at Hotel Glo Art**** or similar.Overnight.

Day 9 Helsinki

Breakfast buffet. Helsinki is truly located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture and this is reflected everywhere inthe green and lively Finnish capital. The sightseeing tour takes you around the harbours and the Senate Square with theLutheran Cathedral, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monumentand for a visit at the famous Church-in-the-Rock. The afternoon offers an excursion to Suomenlinna Fortress, a cultural treasurewhich construction was started in the 18th century as a sea fortress. Located on an island, fortress is a unique attraction forvisitors. The evening offers Finnish dinner at Restaurant Salve. Overnight.

Day 10 Helsinki-St. Petersburg via Vyborg

Breakfast buffet. Today you continue eastbound to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia we arrive inVyborg, where you take time for a short sightseeing tour and a photo-stop at Vyborg Castle. In the late afternoon you arrive in St.Petersburg and check-in at Hotel Sokos Vasilievsky**** or similar.

Day 11 St Petersburg

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will make a panoramic visit of this beautiful city including the Peter and Paul Fortress, theWinter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of San Salvador Bloodied, the Nevsky Convent and much more. In theafternoon you you have time for an excursion to the Villa de los Zares (Tsarskoye Selo) with the impressive Catalina Palace andthe Amber Chamber. In the evening a visit to the Nikolaevsky Palace is offered with a folklore show included. Return to the hotel.Accommodation.

Day 12 St. Petersburg

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you take an excursion to the summer residence of the Tsarins - Petrodvorets. It is a wonderfulplace full of parks, fountains, monuments and above all the fantastic palace with its huge rooms, sculptures and paintings. In theafternoon you will visit the world famous Hermitage Museum. At night you can enjoy an Russian typical dinner at the Pryanosti &Radosti Restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 13 St. Petersburg-Moscow

Buffet breakfast. In the morning there is a shopping tour on Nevsky Prospect Street. Approximately noon, transfer to the railwaystation to take the fast train Sapsan to Moscow. Arrival in Moscow and transfer to your hotel in the Russian capital. Arrival at yourhotel. Accommodation.

Day 14 Moscow

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will have a panoramic visit to the city. The city was founded in the 12th century, built as awooden fortress on the banks of the Moscow River to keep out the invasions from the east. Today is a modern city with fantasticavenues, green parks, maintaining its historic monuments and impressive buildings from past eras. During your panoramic visityou will see amazing golden, blue and green towers of the Orthodox churches, the famous Vasilij cathedral, the Bolshoy theater,the Gorkij park (the largest in Moscow), the State University, visit the famous Metro and many other places of interest. The day offers a full day excursion to the picturesque city of Sergiev Posad, where we will visit the TrinityLavra of St. Sergius, the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual heart of the Russian Orthodox Church. The wholeof Lavra has been beautifully restored for 700 years of celebrations of the birth of St. Sergius of Radonezh. Accommodation.

Day 16 Moscow Departure
