life divider
DESCRIPTION
Our life divider uses the visual and verbal themes of our 2013 yearbook. Visually we incorporated squares and colors for each section, with this being the first and purple section. We also used the verbal concept of Be Bold (interchangeable adjective) with the Life section being titled Be Brave because we are the Indians. Due to the size of the document, we had to submit with low resolution so please take that into consideration.TRANSCRIPT

1. James Burt (12) contemplates
what snack to buy out of the
vending machine during his fourth
period lunch. “It's about them gainz,”
said Burt. 2. Students are more a
part of the festivities during the
night pep rally than any other. Not
only did this event bring the
excitement of spirit week,
homecoming court, and the big
game, but also the Lip Sync
competition. 3. Senor homecoming
court maids Kiara Burrows, Brittany
Hayes, Jerica Martinez, Jessica
Shumaker, Emily Mottaz, Sydnee
West, Iesha Martinez and Syrrah
Castillo hold hands as they waited
to see who would be crowned
homecoming queen. 4. Instead of
heading to class, Jayeven English
(12), Tarus Hollis (11), Mohammad
Khan (11) and Anthony Maloney
(12) meet up with friends to chat
during the six minute passing period
only to run to class to beat lockout.
5. Cheerleaders Jessica Shumaker
(12), Kristin Stubbs (12), Carly
Knees (12), Emily Mottaz (12) and
Jerica Martinez (12) consider
themselves the team behind the
team as their team t-shirts for this
year display. “We're the main spirit
of the school so we back up all the
other teams,” said Stubbs. 6.
Seniors Vincent Garza, Kendall
Paiva, Tyler Williams, Jacob Kubek,
Casey Brower, Kristin Stubbs,
Jessica Shumaker, Kierstin Olpinski,
Summer Wheelis, Matthew Laina
and Nick Sampson soak up the
sun as they try not to waste a
single moment of their last
summer as high school students.
“The beach is a chill place to hang
out with everyone.” said Garza. 7.
Elysa Rutherford (11) and
Angelica Latorre (10) participate
in Crew Day during spirit week as
they Minnie and Mickey Mouse.
“Spirit week is the best week in
the year. Everyone dresses up and
it's like we all like each other for
once,” said Rutherford. 8. Jordan
Sullivan (11), Carlos Magana (12),
Salim Gallow (12), Bo Hogan (12)
and Devin Sayroo (12) pride
themselves in their variety of
shoes in color and style. “Shoes
make your outfit stand out. They
show your personality,” said
Sayroo.
