1. In Genesis 4, What was Cain angry about? What was the Lord‘s counsel to Cain? What principle can we take away from this?

2. Why were Joseph’s brothers antagonistic towards him? What further action did this lead to? Describe the progression of sin Joseph’s brothers engaged in? What should we take away from this?

3. Why did Saul have feelings of animosity towards David? Explore and discuss the progression of envy as demonstrated by Saul’s actions. What principles can we take away from this passage?

4. In James 3:14-16 and 1 Peter 2:1-2, what is being described here? Is there something that God wants us to do? What would the results be?

5. Contrast Mark 7:21-22 and Galatians 5:19-21 with 1 Corinthians 13:4. What are the differences? What would be the principles of application from the truths of this comparisons?
