LOVE TO KNIT? WANT TO LEARN? IT CAN BE A MINISTRY! Every year, Gateway ladies provide 200 to 300 warm, knitted hats for the children of AWANAS, and other missions projects! We always need more people to help make these. If you would like to help, please see Elsie Pittam or Doris Zubor for information and come this Thursday @ 10:00 am!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD is coming! This year, Gateway’s NMI is sponsoring this special Christmas ministry, coordinated by Jo Portzline & Judy Conti! Right now you can start saving shoe boxes to fill with Christmas gifts for a

boy or girl, ages 2-4 yrs, 5-9 yrs, and 10-14 yrs old categories. We are also scheduling a team of 25 people to go to San Diego to work in the Distribution Center doing a final check on each box that will be traveling to a needy part of the world, sharing the love of Jesus. Sign ups & date information will be available SOON, but you can start shopping NOW! Some gift ideas: something to love (stuffed animal, doll), something for school (pencil case, pencils, pens, sharpener, eraser, etc.), something to wear (t-shirt, flip-flops), something to play with (jump rope, ball, yo-yo), something for personal hygiene (toothbrush/paste, brush, comb), something special (sunglasses, stickers, note from you), etc. More ideas to come! Make this a family Christmas project this year!
