“Building God Pleasers” II Corinthians 5:9

Life Is Really About Living For God, Not Yourself.
“It All Starts With GOD”
“For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible . . . Everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.” Colossians 1:16 (MSG)
To find the purpose of your life is the most important discovery you can make!

___________________________________________________________________________________________
The purpose of life has puzzled people forever.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
It is because we start looking with the wrong starting point— ourselves.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
You must begin with God, your creator.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
You were made for God, not vice versa.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Life is about letting God use you for His purposes, not you using Him for your own purpose.

In our Owner’s Manual the Bible, God explains: [1] Why we are alive, [2] How life works, [3] What to avoid, and [4] What to expect in the future.
God has clearly revealed His 5 Purposes for our lives through the Bible.
1. You were planned for God’s pleasure in Worship.
2. You were created to become like Christ through Instruction.
3. You were formed for Fellowship in God’s Family.
4. You were made for a Mission of Evangelism.
5. You were shaped for serving God in Ministry.
To discover your purpose in life you must turn to God’s word, not the world’s wisdom. You must build
your life on eternal truths, not pop psychology, success-motivation, or inspiration stories.
“Without God, life makes no sense.”

Puggles (2 year old – 3 year old); Cubbies (3 year old - Pre-Kindergarten); Sparkies (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade); Truth & Training (3rd – 6th Grade); Trek (7th – 9th Grade, part of our youth program)
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of AWANA to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow — today.
Evangelism and discipleship go hand in hand in our third through sixth grade program. By the time a child has completed T&T, he will have: Learned and reviewed approximately 310 verses; Studied doz-ens of passages from the Old and New Testament; Regularly heard and read the gospel message; Discovered the Bible’s response to questions like “How does God want me to live my life?” and memorized verses to back up these answers.
