Our swimming pool maintenance division

maintains chlorine and / or salt based swimming

pools and e-Clear Oxygen swimming pools

throughout KwaZulu-Natal. Our personalized

service and attention to detail has helped us grow

our happy client base steadily since its inception.

We will always do our best to solve swimming pool

problems quickly and efficiently, providing feed

back and future advice as we go.

Our maintenance teams follow a strict code of

conduct and carry out point checks on your

swimming pool system with every visit. We

endeavour to let you know in advance if any part of

your system appears to need attention and

additional work such as servicing or replacement.

Work will NEVER be carried out without your prior

consent.

What to expect from our “maintenance division”?

Courtesy and Professionalism at all times...

Our maintenance team will always be able to

explain what they are doing and will follow a

guideline point check to ensure the quality of the

work they deliver as well as keep you in the loop.


P O I N T C H E C K

Each weekly visit will include:

A personal greeting or a calling card from our Site Manager

while his team ready themselves to brush the swimming pool

walls and stairs, where-ever the automatic cleaner cannot

reach; and hand net any leaves or algae forming substances

that have fallen into the water.

The Site Manager will then complete a minor filtration

inspection; check the level of the water; complete a pH water

test; if necessary his team will complete a manual vacuum of

the swimming pool floor; he will then clean the filtration basket;

do a back-wash; and rinse for approximately 10 seconds; and

then switch the system back to filter.

The Site Manager will also add the necessary chemicals ; and

do an inspection on the automatic cleaner before reconnecting

it. All defects and findings are recorded for our offices to give

you a call.

The Site Manager will close the cover of the filtration system

and see to it that your swimming pool is left looking great!

Minor Filtration Inspection

Includes:-

Clean the Filtration Area

Check the timer is working (if not, leave

auto-cleaner to run)

Check that the multi-port is working

Listen for noises from the motor

(bearings/fan)

Check whole system for visible leaks


W H A T I S I N C L U D E D I N T H E F E E S ?

Your monthly fees include the full service of your swimming pool as laid

out in the point check above, as well as treatment of Chlorine and Acid.

Four times per year, at the beginning of each new season, we will do a full

chemical analysis to determine what your water needs are. Should we

need to adjust and prepare for the season ahead, we will complete this

application. Additional chemicals used here are NOT part of your monthly

fee as they are specialised.

These specialised chemicals might include items such as filter aids,

stabilizers, total alkalinity raisers, algaecides, acid and alkaline based

treatments, salts, shocks and clarifiers.

New equipment and repairs: are NOT included in your monthly fees. This

might include items such as weir lids, baskets, leaf catcher nets, o-rings,

automatic cleaner hoses and hose weights.

Repairs and Outwork: are NOT included in your monthly fees. Repairs

and outwork are handled separately and quoted and invoiced from Lifestyle

Pools & Spas directly, as this is a separate division. Repairs and outwork

might include sand changes, filtration and pump changes, swimming pool

leaks and detection, upgrades and renovations to the entertainment area

etc.

We consider your personal security a real issue, and at

all times endeavour to make sure that your instructions

are followed out to the letter. Gate passes / remotes for

access and pad-lock keys are kept in our safe at the

office until the day of their use.

ongoing education in product awareness and water

Filtration RateThe Filtration Rate is the speed or velocity of the water through the filtration media. The

slower the Filtration Rate - the more effective the filtration.
