Lift-A-Loft announces a new product innovation. The Vertex is a compact vertical mast lift that is more maneuverable than any product on the market. This cost effective lift can elevate to 12’ of platform height allowing a working height of 18’. It can travel through a standard man door and can work in very narrow aisles and congested environments. The unit offers 500 lbs. capacity and comes with a variety of options to help with order picking and other applications. What really sets the Vertex apart from the competition is the 90-degree platform rotation to either side. This provides over 28” of side reach and allows the operator a great deal of capability when positioning in tight areas for maintenance or production applications. The unit can also be used to quickly rotate from one side of an aisle to another when pulling stock. The Vertex can drive at full elevation even with the platform rotated to either side. “The Vertex is our first step toward building a lower cost product that can be manufactured and sold in volume”, says Todd Hunt Company President. “This product and our commitment to further development have helped Lift-A-Loft re-establish a distribution network that will work to sell and service the Vertex and other Lift-A-Loft products. The vision of the new Lift-A-Loft is to offer quality American made products that can be built in larger quantities along side our more custom product offerings. The Vertex features a maintenance free mast design and reversible electric drive motors. A CAN bus system controls the machine’s functions and the multi directional joystick makes the unit very intuitive and easy to maneuver. The unit is simple, efficient and built to handle tough industrial applications. Lift-A-Loft will enter full production of the Vertex in June and has numerous pre-production units on order.
