What is a FLUSH and FILL?A Flush and Fill is the complete change over of the antifreeze/coolant in your vehicle.It is a regular maintenance activity critical to maintaining the life of your engine.

Why do I need a FLUSH and FILL?While topping off to maintain antifreeze/coolant level is important, it is not enough. Antifreeze/Coolant contains anti-corrosion inhibitors, that over time degrade and must be replaced. Not only to protect from freeze ups and boil overs, but from damaging corrosion that can destroy your engine.

When do I need a FLUSH and FILL?The change interval is outlined in your owners manual, varying from every 2 to 5 years or36,000-150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Choose a good quality antifreeze/coolant like Prestone® that provides extended life of the corrosion inhibitor package to last for the full interval.

1. DRAIN Draining removes loose rust and sediment from the radiator.Drain cooling system following owner’s manual recommendations.

2. CLEAN & FLUSH Cleaning and flushing removes all of the old antifreeze/coolant and any deposits from the radiator, heater core, and engine block.Use a quality cooling system cleaner and be sure to follow the instructions listed on the cleaner package. After cleaning, use a quality flush and fill kit to completelyflush the system.

LIMPIAR Y ENJUAGAR Al limpiar y enjuagar, se quita todo el viejo anticongelante/refrigerante y los depósitos que haya en el radiador, el núcleo del calentador y el bloque del motor. 3. FILL See the owners manual for the cooling system capacity and any specific fill procedures. Install minimum 50%, maximum 70% Extended Life Antifreeze & Coolant Concentrate and top off with distilled water. Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on high. Shut off engine. Allow to cool. Check coolant level and add water or coolant again as necessary. Remove coolant from recovery tank and fill with 50/50 mixture of Extended Life Antifreeze & Coolant and water.
