The  urban  nightscape  is  a  complex  rela4onship  between  people  and  their  environment.

How  can  we  make  the  urban  ligh4ng  respond  to  that?  

Ligh4ng  the  city  as  process  and  not  a  product  –  it  has  to  start  with  people.  

Social  perspec4ve  ligh4ng  is  educa4onal  –  as  noctunal  space  can  look    like  this...

New  technologies    are  new  opportuni4es  to  make  urban  ligh4ng  social.
