Share 5 new vocabulary/phrase/sentence you learn to your friends on your FB. Each new word/phrase/sentence must include 1) a screenshot image of the scene you learn the word, 2) definition, and 3) a detailed explanation of the context in which the items are being used, 4) additional vocabulary knowledge e.g. synonym, antonym etc, and 5) reference.

Once the lesson has been posted, submit the evidence to your teacher via posting in a FB group of your L4 section, or email the link.

2. Media for PresentationPWP or other types of media for presentation must be used in the presentation, and it will be evaluated together

with the VDO of alternative ending. The PWP slides must be clear, not packed with text. References of all sources must be provided e.g. vdo or

images. For the alternative ending VDO, all members must have a role as one of the characters, not just a director. The audio must be clear to the audience when being played for your presentation. You must also show how your version is different from the original version upon providing a brief explanation reasoning your choice of the alternative ending.

3. Presentation activity:Ss work in groups of 3-5 students depends on class size. Each group chooses one movie and watches it in

English language and prepare a presentation which must include:3.1 Movie Plot ( 2 min)

Ss must give a short movie plot to introduce the movie to the class. Do not spoil the movie! 3.2 Review (3 min)

Students give a review of the movie by answering some of the following questions: - What did you like the most and the least about the movie? Why?

Page 2: li.kku.ac.th  · Web viewyou learn to your friends on your FB. Each new word/phrase/sentence must include 1) a screenshot image of the scene you learn the word, 2) definition, and

- Who were your most/least favorite characters in the movie? Why?- What were you thinking as you finished watching the film?- What is the message of this movie? Do you agree or disagree with it? How does it relate to your life?

Remember quality is better than quantity! You don’t need to answer all the questions, choose some and answer with critical reasoning, and explain clearly with specific examples.

3.3 Alternative Ending (3 min) Use your imagination and present an alternative ending of the movie by showing a vdo. Also, explain briefly the reasons why you decide to change the ending this way.Examples HARRY POTTER https://youtu.be/CkQufSenKlw

3.4 Questions and Constructive Feedback by the Audiences (4 min)This activity is to involve the students into the presentation by asking questions that seeks for more clarification

or opinion toward crucial points of the presentation. Also, feedback is a score given when the group is an audience. the feedback is marked. The marked feedback should be constructive and for the betterment of the presentation of the presenting groups.

Steps: Presenters do Presentation ---> Audience ask Questions and give feedbackConstructive Feedback: For the feedback to be constructive, a commentator, on his/her group behalf, should

point out the strengths and weaknesses of the presentation and provide suggestions. The students may begin their comments using the sentences below:

- What I really like/find interesting/ about your presentation is…- You have done a great job/clearly pointed out about... - Your presentation is amazing because…- Thank you for your fascinating/informative talk today... - I think it would be great if …. - I think what your team should do is to…- To make your presentation (even) more interesting/informative/academic….I think you should…- We found some minor corrections to be made on your slide, could you go back to the slide number/page…? - There are just a few little things you should be careful of...For example, the speaker should...

Scoring for Positive Questions (2): Each question is 1 point, any team that asks 2 questions gets 2 points *Please do write down the number of each team’s questions. After the presentation is over, the audiences have to ask positive questions in seek of clarification on the points that the presenters do not mention or fail to provide enough explanation. Note that dull fact questions that repeat the already mentioned idea is not counted. Each presenter team has to answer 2 questions.

For both feedback and question, there is no deduction on grammar error.
