Greenbelt, Maryland· The City Manager has submitted a supplemental budget for the Revenue Sharinlt.Fund for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1988 in the amount of $10,500. The budget prooses that the supplemental funds be expended for the purchase of word and data processing equipment and consulting services for the various departments and offices. of the city. The estimated additional funds re­sult from more funds being available for appropriation at the close of the last ft8cal year J.han were anticipated, $7.000; funds encumbered for purchases at the elld of the previous year not heiDi!' expended, $1,000; and from ~:nal interest saved from temporary investment.•.

A public hearing on the budget will be held at the place set forth above. Any person wishing to be heard on the proposed bu~ will be recognized at the public hearing. Volunteers Sought for Senior Citizens Task Force

The City Council_ of Greenbelt at its December 21. 1987 meeting, approved the establishment of a Senior Citizens Task Foree. The purpose of the task force is to: . \.

e Recommend essential elements for an adult day' care center program and senior citizens activity center program. ·

The task force will consist of between nine and eleven members appointecj by the City Council to serve until the adult day care and senior activity center programs are in place. The task force will include representatives from other city advisory boards, citizens of all ages, and citi­zens with profeasional expertise in senior programs.
