Exceptions and alertsThe exception handling module enablesyou to highlight a range of exceptionsfor each of your vessels using your owncolour code. This might include delays,missing reports and other changes tothe schedule. VOYCES will automatically
alert your operations team when deviations to the plan and otherexceptions are identified. Alerts can be individually configured andmight include:• bookings exceed vessel capacity• checklist tasks not fulfilled• special cargo booked (Reefer, Out of gauge, Hazardous)• vessel progress is faster or slower than planned (incl. tolerances)

Statement of Facts (SOF) and Port CostEstimationThe Statement of Facts is available from an online platform so thatall port call activities are immediately reported to the OperationsManager after vessel departure. The SOF will provide a break-down of the actual events and port call durations including anyincidents. Any unplanned events are instantly visible allowing theOperations Manager to react to possible delays before they have along-term impact on the schedule. Cargo volumes reported in theSOF are retrieved from the manifest details and input to the SOFbefore being confirmed by the agent.
After submission of the SOF, port call costs are automaticallyestimated from purchase tariffs, providing rates for pilot fees,harbour dues and other cost elements. Cargo costs are calculatedfrom retrieved volumes and manually entered volume figures, suchas an unpredictable number of shiftings. At any stage, a preliminaryvoyage calculation may be requested to show all revenues andcosts to that date. On completion of the voyage, a final calculationis easily processed to include all costs including bunkers andmanagement overhead.
