Jaco Robotic Arm Support

JACO is a six-axis robotic manipulator arm with a three fingered hand for use by persons with upper-extremity impairments. They are often people with advanced muscular disabilities and sometimes neurological disorders. JACO can interface with many power wheelchairs, providing an invaluable tool for independence in the community as well as in the home environment.

MultiLink Dynamic Arm Support

UseMultiLink can be applied single-sided as well as double sided to wheelchairs or work chairs. A separate table mount is available which means it can be easily installed to a table for eating or typing etc.

MultiLink helps people with limited arm function to move their arms and hands. MultiLink eliminates gravity and the burden to lift the arm. It helps to reach, grab and manipulate during daily activities such as eating, drinking, computer work, communication and play.

Purpose

MultiLink carries the weight of the arm. Movements initiated from the shoulder girdle are converted into movements of the forearm. The lateral and vertical hinge points can each be adjusted according to the level of movement required to enable a precise support for the user’s needs.

MultiLink is used by people who are challenged by muscular weakness or paralysis but can still grab objects. Suitable for users with neurological or neuromuscular disorders. The elastic band assistedElevating Proximal Arm is designed to provide clients with shoulder girdle weakness, a greater range of movement. A client with little or poor strength in the shoulder can accomplish self-feeding, table top activities and facial hygiene, while increasing or maintaining ROM (range of movement) andstrengthening muscles.

The Zero Gravity - ARMON EDEROA dynamic arm support is an assistive technology product which allows people with limited arm and shoulder function, to move their arms and hands freely, making it possible to conduct all kinds of daily activities.

The Armon Edero is a mechanical arm support. It doesn’t need to beconnected to an external power source. It is easily set up and adjusted to the right weight of the users arm. People who may benefit from this product include those with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, motorneurone disease, head injuries, spinal injuries,rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophies, limbamputations, ataxia, strokes and Parkinson’s disease.

The manually controlled Neater Eater helps users to feed themselves in a smooth, controlled and dignified way. It is used by persons with limited upper limb movement or excessive tremor. Options are available for clients with no upper limb function.This feeding aid is designed using viscous fluid dampening, to smooth out essential tremors associated with ataxia.
