The imperative, called l'impératif in French, is a verb mood which is used to give an order

recommend something
the subject pronoun is not used with the imperative
Imperative is expressed only in tu, nous and vous forms
In the negative form ‘ne’ is placed before the verb and ‘pas’ after the verb.
Conjugation• Parler finir• Parle! Finis!• Parlons! Finissons!• Parlez! Finissez!• Regular ‘er’verbes---the ‘s’ from the tu form of the
verb is dropped.
