Resolutions of the meeting

• An interim committee was formed consisting of one member from each district municipality.• Convener of the interim committee meetings was nominated

Mandate of the interim committee:

• To introduce the forum to other structures and stakeholders, i.e. DPLG, PGITOC, SITA, Municipal manager’s forum, SALGA and ensure that the benefits are realised thereof

2. Conduct research on similar structures, and study their guidelines

3. Represent municipalities in DLG&H IT support meetings

• Local government ICT projects are initiated, deeply discussed, co-coordinated and consolidated before implementation

• ICT trends are analyzed and how they can enable better service delivery to all communities (e-community)

• All people involved in the implementation of the E-government at the municipality level can speak in one voice.
