TEAMWORK is misunderstood

There are a few endeavors where teamwork pays off. Most of the time, though, ‘teamwork’ is just a euphemism for “do what I say.” That’s not teamwork. That’s an order.

Successful organizations deal with changing situations by giving individuals the ability to make decisions on behalf of the group, all working towards the same goal. That takes trust and guts. It takes people willing to step up and make a difference.

Please don’t call that other stuff teamwork.
